During The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 4, original partners Hayley Hendrich and Blake Robertson gave a window into their tumultuous relationship both on and off screen. While the reunion aired on July 22, these exes are still sharing details about their messy split. Now, Blake has dropped screenshots of their private text messages ahead of Hayley’s appearance on The Viall Files, which dropped July 29. On the reunion stage, both Hayley and Blake confirmed that Blake had been arrested for family violence following an alleged altercation between himself and Hayley after they had broken up. Hayley also confirmed that she signed an affidavit at Blake’s request.
Before Hayley’s appearance on The Viall Files, Blake posted text messages between himself and Hayley from the night of his arrest. In the caption, he wrote, “I’m tired of this. Text from the night of my arrest. Enjoy the read. Will we see @viallfiles ask Hayley about this conversation? The victim card is getting old. Will she take accountability for hitting and slapping me? I will be responding to everything. Stay tuned.”

In the alleged texts from the night of October 18, Hayley texted, “You don’t deserve this… Your dad called the cops and I was trying to prove to the cops that I didn’t do anything because of what I was getting accused of. I told them that I didn’t want you to go to jail. I even said if I pushed him when he grabbed my sweatshirt do I not go to jail? They said no.”
On The Viall Files, Hayley explained that pushing Blake after he grabbed her sweatshirt was deemed self-defense by the police, who were called by Blake’s dad. Later on in the texts, Hayley offered to bail Blake out of jail, and told him, “I did not do this, but you don’t deserve to be in there. I literally could not sleep last night knowing you were in there and have been anxious all day. Please know that I care so much, and I hate this. I don’t understand why the cops had to get involved.”
A day later, Blake told Hayley, “Right now I am arrested for assault family violence… If you mean all the things you have texted me, I could use your help today at 1:30pm. I am going to see Sean Hightower [his attorney] to try and get this dismissed and he said you could sign a non prosecution affidavit. That just says you do not want to press charges and you do not want the case to go forward.”
He added, “I know this is hard on you emotionally and I hate that. I’m sorry. I’m genuinely asking you to help my legal case and please sign it.” Hayley responded, “I absolutely would do that for you. I was not planning on attending any court hearing if they called me because with no ‘victim’ there’s no case.”

Hayley has yet to comment on Blake’s post. That said, she claimed on The Viall Files that “[Blake] is so angry that we’re [she and Ashley Wilson] going on podcasts and nobody’s asking him.” While Hayley did share her recording of Blake’s arrest on the podcast, Nick Viall watched the recording off-camera. After viewing, he told Hayley, “That was disturbing… It’s a disgusting recording. It’s hard to watch.” He later added about Blake, “He’s a dangerous and bad person. There’s no way around that.”
