Ahead of the premiere of Let’s Marry Harry, a Bachelor-style series specifically aimed at finding Mrs. Jowsey, Harry Jowsey sat down with Swooon to reveal how his new series came to be and whether he was at all hesitant to take the lead in such a high-stakes experiment. Thankfully, he wasn’t on this journey alone. His closest confidants, Amanda Kloots, Georgia Hassarati, and Sonny Hentey, will help him with the tough calls.
When asked if he was apprehensive about getting engaged to 20 women at once, he laughed, “Yeah!” According to Harry, it wasn’t his idea to tie the knot in this way. Instead, it was Netflix who approached him. He explained, “Initially, Netflix came up with the idea, and they gave me a call, and I was just like, ‘This is the perfect decision.'”

That said, he was definitely hesitant about getting engaged to 20 women before narrowing it down to The One. On reality shows, you often hear someone say that they only want to get engaged once.
“I definitely had a lot of apprehension, especially the first day. I remember walking in, and I was so nervous. I was beyond nervous, especially to meet all these lovely ladies,” Harry told Swooon.

According to Harry, the cast members didn’t just get any engagement ring: They all got their dream engagement ring! That makes it a lot harder to take away. As he put it, “That was wild.”
Despite the apprehension, he was thrilled to “dive headfirst” into Let’s Marry Harry. Almost as thrilled as we are to watch him finally find his person!
