JJ and John’s practice night out is here! Could real feelings get involved in their fake date?
In Swooon‘s exclusive clip of Little Singles Episode 8, which premieres on August 3, Jordanna “JJ” James and John Ferguson head out on their practice date at a pottery studio. The only problem is that JJ has a bit of a crush on John, and while he has a girlfriend back home, their friends are convinced he might have caught feelings for JJ, too.
The sneak peek of the new episode begins with JJ asking John, “Have you ever brought somebody on a date like this?” In response, he reveals that he’s more of a “movies or sushi” kind of guy. That said, he admits, ” I thought this was a lot more fun, and I think you need more than just a half-a**ed first date.” Interesting…
As she continues to shape the clay on her pottery wheel, JJ tells John, “I think this is actually starting to be the best date ever.”
“The more time I spend with JJ, the more I realize, a woman like her: So confident, so fun, so incredible. Any man would happily be with her,” he explains to the viewers. He tells her, “You just have to be willing to at least explore, you know? Because you won’t ever find out if there is a perfect man out there unless you try again.”

That said, JJ has put her walls up. When she sat down with Swooon, JJ revealed, “I used to live in Palm Springs with my ex, and it wasn’t a great experience, so coming back to Palm Springs, and especially being with these guys, I learned a lot.”
When John asks her, “Does any part of you ever want to at least try to find love again?” She tells him, there’s “a little hole [in her wall]. Like a crack.” Laughing, John responds, “And you can… You can open up that crack. You can have a crack on your wall.”
