Is ‘Roast My Rental’ Host Leslie Jones in a Relationship? What She’s Said About Dating
Leslie Jones has been in the spotlight for years, but she’s now taking on a new gig as host of HGTV’s Roast My Rental. The show features Jones visiting the “worst short-term rentals” in America and renovating them in just 72 hours with help from HGTV vet Jasmine Roth.
While Jones is a very public figure, she does keep a lot of her personal life out of the spotlight. Below, we rounded up what we know about her love life and romantic history, including what she’s said about dating.
Is Leslie Jones in a relationship?
No, Jones is not currently in a relationship. While she is mostly private about her personal life, she has been open about her struggles with dating over the years and explained why she’s remained single.
“I am not good at dating because I judge so hard,” she said on The Kelly Clarkson Show. She also clarified, “I love men, but I don’t love a stupid man. I got to the point in my life where I really want what I want in my life because I have worked so hard for my peace. If you can’t be with my peace, you can be with the door.”

She made a similar comment on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2024, telling host Drew Barrymore, “I’m single because I’m tired of raising boys. I’m tired.”
While little is known about Jones’ relationship history, she did note in her 2023 memoir that she previously had a long-term boyfriend whom she lived with.
Has Leslie Jones ever been married?
No, Jones has never been married. In fact, in an April 2026 interview, she urged listeners not to get married at all. “Most of the people I know that’ve been married have gotten divorced now,” she said. “I think marriage is legalized slavery.”
Does Leslie Jones have kids?
No, Jones does not have any children. She revealed in her memoir that she had “multiple” abortions in her 20s while she was dating her then-boyfriend.
The comedienne told People that she developed a fear of childbirth after seeing a video in ninth grade health class. “I remember running all the way home and I looked right at my mom and said, ‘I will never do that,'” Jones admitted. “I didn’t get married and have kids, but I don’t know if that’s what I wanted. I’ve always wanted to take care of myself.”
