Has The Black Dagger Brotherhood been renewed for Season 3?
The Passionflix series hasn’t been officially renewed for Season 3 just yet, but it’s a sure thing. On July 30, Ward posted a video on Instagram about a third season. “Season 3 is gonna be a gauntlet to get through, but it is going to be amazing,” she said. The author then added the caption, “Thoughts on Season 3… #bdb #BDBseason2 @passionflix @toscamusk @mariahdavis @andrew.biernat.”

In a separate Instagram video, the author gave a special shoutout to everyone who worked on Season 3 and added in a tidbit about what’s next. Without giving too much away, Ward said Season 2 sets up the next season perfectly. “I already can’t wait to see it,” she gushed.
What will The Black Dagger Brotherhood Season 3 be about?
Season 3 will chronicle Lover Awakened and shift focus to Bella and Zsadist’s love story. Bella, who will be introduced in the second season, is a vampire and close friend to Mary (Audrey Hare). Zsadist, aka Z, the most feared member of the Brotherhood, is a former blood slave with physical and emotional scars stemming from trauma he suffered. There’s an instant connection when Bella and Zsadist first cross paths.
When Bella is kidnapped by a lesser, Zsadist does whatever is necessary to find her. Their love story develops over the course of the novel, and they face plenty of complications. Zsadist attempts to push Bella away because he doesn’t feel worthy of her, but love always finds a way. We won’t give the rest of the story away, but there is a happily ever after!
When will The Black Dagger Brotherhood Season 3 premiere?
The Black Dagger Brotherhood Season 3 doesn’t have a premiere date yet, but if the season follows the schedule of previous seasons, we could see new episodes in 2027. The first season debuted in June 2025, and the second season will premiere in fall 2026.
Who will return for The Black Dagger Brotherhood Season 3?
There’s no official cast list yet, but Mariah Davis and Andrew Biernat would be the leads of Season 3. The rest of the Brotherhood would be expected to return, including Wrath (Robert Maaser), Rhage (Alexander Cubis), Tohr (Joel Cederberg), Vishous (Sia Zami), and Phury (Zack Ignoffo). Beth (Olivia Applegate), Mary (Audrey Hare), Mr. O (Jon Haslam), and John Matthew (Bobby Hogan) would likely be back as well.
Since Season 3 would revolve around Lover Awakened, the series would have to cast actors for roles such as Rehvenge and Wellsie.
