‘Love Is Blind’: Monica Says Garrett’s Glow-Up Gives ‘Chris Evans a Run for His Money’
Love Is Blind Season 7 star Garrett Josemans is making waves on social media. The quantum physicist is gathering new fans left and right who are loving his glow-up, so maybe a side career in modeling is on the horizon. Fellow Season 7 costar Monica Davis also has some thoughts about his transformation.
When asked what she thinks of Garrett’s new look, she told Swooon, “He looks awesome, and he’s just as good on the inside as he is on the out.” She even joked about a line her Love Is Blind match, Stephen Richardson, brought up on the show about Garrett: “What were they calling him? Like a bootleg Chris Evans. Now he’s going to give Chris Evans a run for his money.”
The friendship between Monica and Garrett was established when she went to his and Taylor’s apartment seeking comfort after she found out Stephen had been sending explicit texts to someone he had known before the experience. Speaking lovingly about Taylor Krause, Monica noted, “We are close. She’s incredible.” Monica also made a point to bring up Garrett. “I’m so glad she was there to comfort me, her and Garrett,” she said.
A short snippet of the conversation between the three was shared on the show. Taylor, with tears in her eyes, was upset for her friend, and Garrett had a concerned look on his face. According to Monica, much of that wasn’t shown, “I can’t thank them enough for the conversation that the three of us had. That was much longer than what you see.” She added, “They’re just amazing people.”
She also explained exactly how they helped her through that tough time. “I was feeling so shocked, so outside of my comfort zone, and they just made me feel like it was all going to be okay. They made me feel immediately [that] we’re here for you, and you’re going to be okay,” Monica told Swooon.
