‘Summer I Turned Pretty’ Star Gavin Casalegno Marries in Surprise Wedding
Talk about a plot twist! The Summer I Turned Pretty star Gavin Casalegno announced that he’s a married man in a November 12 Instagram post.
The actor shared gorgeous photos from his nuptials to a woman named Cheyanne. “FOREVER CAPTIVATED BY YOU,” his caption read.
Casalegno could be seen getting visibly emotional as Cheyanne walked down the aisle. The bride wore a strapless wedding gown with sleeves. They tied the knot underneath a beautiful floral arch surrounded by their friends and family.
The newlyweds have been keeping their relationship on the down low. It’s unclear how Casalegno and his now-wife met. This is the first time he’s posted about her on social media. One fan commented, “Okay hard launch !!!!!” Another wrote, “Someone pinch me I’m dreaming.” Taylor Lautner wrote, “Let’s gooooo.”
This is the first marriage for the 25-year-old. He previously dated Larsen Thompson. They were in a relationship from 2016 to 2022.
The actor recently wrapped production on The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3. The cast, which also includes Lola Tung and Christopher Briney, returned to North Carolina to film the highly-anticipated third season, which will premiere in 2025.
The end of Season 2 marked a major moment for Jeremiah (Casalegno) and Belly (Tung). After falling in love and then a bad breakup with Jeremiah’s older brother, Conrad (Briney), Belly developed feelings for the younger Fisher. Despite her pull to Conrad, she chose to be with Jeremiah.
Fans of Jenny Han’s final The Summer I Turned Pretty novel, We’ll Always Have Summer, will know how Belly’s story ends. But we’re not going to spoil that for you here. Since this is a TV adaptation, they could end up changing how it all winds up for Conrad, Belly, and Jeremiah.
