The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 has just wrapped up, and fans are already begging for their favorite messy TV show to return.

With plenty of people believing that the series could potentially be scripted, Netflix shocked them by confirming that the situations that occur are indeed real and not set up by production at all. This is why Netflix viewers are hoping there will be another installment of the reality TV dating show in the near future.

So, will The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On return for Season 4? Swooon is breaking down everything we know so far.

Is The Ultimatum coming back for Season 4?

Although Netflix hasn’t made an official announcement yet that The Ultimatum is returning for a fourth season, we’re hopeful that the show will get renewed.

Nick and Vanessa Lachey are the hosts of both The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On and Love Is BlindMore known for the latter, they seem to be enjoying their time working on the partner swap series as well.

When would The Ultimatum Season 4 premiere?

The rollout of The Ultimatum appears to happen once a year. If it gets renewed, it will likely premiere in late 2025.

Love Is Blind has a more frequent pace in which they release new seasons. They typically premiere two new batches of singles a year. Perfect Match has a similar treatment to The Ultimatum as the Netflix dating show also gets one season a year.

With Perfect Match rumored to come back to Netflix in the summer of 2025, you could see familiar Ultimatum faces then.

What happened in The Ultimatum Season 3?

Plenty of events were covered in Season 3. In previous installments, some couples exited the experience, but this time around, two left before the first trial marriage was even over. Two contestants, Nick Tramontin and Mariah Zernik, were left to finish the trial marriages on their own.

Occasional smooches, disrespectful talk, and new connections allowed the original couples to appreciate each other more — or the wedge between them widened.

The finale wrapped up all the loose ends for the couples. Two couples left engaged: Mariah and Caleb Lefterys, as well as Scotty Lewis and Aria De’Westbrooks. At the reunion, Mariah and Caleb revealed they’re planning a destination wedding in 2026.

Despite getting engaged at the end of the experiment, Scotty and Aria ultimately didn’t last. Aria broke off their engagement just one day later. “I realized I made a mistake pretty fast after,” Aria said.

Sandy Gallagher and Nick split, as well as Zaina Sesay and J.R. Warren. Dave Adams and Vanessa Hattaway were one of the couples to leave the experiment early, and they’re still together. They’re planning to get engaged. Micah Hardeman and Chanel Watkins appear to be still together.

What happened to The Ultimatum: Queer Love?

The Ultimatum: Queer Love has officially been renewed. So, watch out, because a second season of the hit show could pop up anytime!

An official premiere date has not been announced yet. The cast has not been revealed either, but it is sure to be another dramatic season.

While many dating shows focus on straight couples, The Ultimatum: Queer Love tapped into the world of women and non-binary people who were attracted to each other.

The fans will, however, have to say goodbye to the beautiful San Diego backdrop, as the second season was filmed in the equally gorgeous Miami.
