Sandy Gallagher is upset and ready to speak out. She did not like the way J.R. Warren spoke about her during their trial marriage in The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On. Comments like being with her meant that there were “no strings attached” or that she was a “hall pass” hurt Sandy.

When they were together, however, all seemed to be swell. They even shared a kiss or two — or three.

Her opinion of J.R. has shifted since their time on the show. “If I’m being completely honest, I was pretty upset with J.R. at the reunion. I didn’t really want to sit next to him,” she told Swooon.

Sandy further explained, “I was just unsettled watching back a lot of the things that was being said about me that I didn’t know that was being said.” She was offended by “the over-sexualization of everything,” which she called “really unsettling, honestly, to watch back.”

She continued, “I know in those moments I think I kind of go along with it. I do have a very flirtatious vibe and banter, but there were definitely a lot of things that I should have not tolerated.”

Now that she has had some time to reflect on what appeared to be a passionate, brief courtship with the personal trainer, she has a different point of view compared to when she was living through it. “I was upset for a lot of reasons,” Sandy stated.

“For one, we’re only seeing a very, very small amount of the conversation. When I’m saying, ‘We’re seeing nothing,’ J.R. would kind of lead with these funny, sexual things.” Sandy continued, “And I’m very comfortable with my sexuality and talking about that stuff. I have no problem talking about it.”

However, she admitted that she has regrets about how she acted. “There’s a time and a place, and I just think that given the circumstances with our being there with our original partners and everything it just wasn’t the time and the place for it, honestly. And I do have regret around that.”

Not taking all the blame, she felt like she was misled by J.R. in certain ways. “I do think that there was a lot more to it that I couldn’t really see in that moment with J.R. that I saw watching that just again, the way that he was kind of talking about things to the other men and in his interviews and just the way he’s talking about other women like that was upsetting for me to watch,” she told Swooon.
