‘Welcome to Plathville’ Star Ethan Plath Shows Off New Girlfriend After Divorce
Ethan Plath is ringing in the new year with an exciting update.
The eldest Plath sibling has been open on Welcome to Plathville about his struggle to move on from his ex-wife Olivia. Now, he’s finally ready for a new chapter.
The Minnesota resident has found a companion. Yes, he announced to the world on January 1 that he has a new girlfriend.
In a 13-photo slideshow, Ethan showed off his current love. He captioned the post, “Proud to introduce my sweet girlfriend! She truly is one of the sweetest, kindest, and patient people I’ve ever known! Looking forward to the next year and what it has to bring. Wishing everyone a very happy new year! Here we go 2025!”

He didn’t tag or name her, but fans of the TLC star are thrilled for him.
This comes after the drama of his divorce played out in Season 6 of his family’s TLC show. Ethan and Olivia had been married for five years before they decided to go in different directions in 2023. They finalized their divorce in 2024.
At the time, there were segments following Olivia to her new home in Los Angeles. “I’ve been dating outside of L.A. mostly all long distance,” Olivia said on the show. She continued, “I have found that that’s a really great way to keep a separation of, like, my single personal life in L.A. figuring my sh*t out and still having some fun when I’m traveling, going on dates, talking to people, but I’m not seeing them every day.”
Ethan took a different approach. He was initially hesitant to jump back into the dating pool.
After more than a whole year of separation, the former spouses have both moved on from each other. Ethan with his new girlfriend, and Olivia with her boyfriend, Brendan, who has already appeared on Welcome to Plathville.
