Michael Allio Reveals He’s Dating Influencer Jadé Marie After 2023 Split From ‘BIP’ Costar Danielle Maltby
Bachelor Nation alum Michael Allio is opening up about his new love, beauty influencer Jadé Marie. He hard-launched their relationship in a lengthy Instagram post on January 2.
Allio and Marie met in 2021 and “became instant friends.” They met before he went on Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 and fell in love with fellow Bachelor Nation star Danielle Maltby. Allio and Maltby’s romance began in 2022, but they split the next year.

“For years, that’s exactly how we stayed—always there for each other at any hour, sharing laughs when life got tough, and offering support when it was needed most,” the 40-year-old said about his relationship with Marie began. “There’s something special about being friends first. It sounds obvious, but I’d never truly experienced it until I met her.”
He continued, “For the first time in forever, I’ve felt unconditional love and have been able to give it in return. From the moment I wake up, she’s in my thoughts, lifting my hope and filling my heart. She’s the light that shines through the cracks, fitting seamlessly into our lives and completing our family in ways I never imagined possible.”
In his video compilation, Allio gave a glimpse into his romance with Marie, the founder and creative director of JADÉ Complexions. This included moments with James, Allio’s son with his late wife. For Allio, witnessing his son and Marie form a “strong bond” has been one of his “greatest joys.” He added, “Watching their relationship grow has brought me happiness beyond compare—it’s like she was meant to be here with us all along.”
It’s unclear when Allio and Marie began dating, but they’ve been in a relationship since at least January 2024.
Allio, who made his Bachelor Nation debut during Katie Thurston‘s season of The Bachelorette, opened up about his split from Maltby in 2023 on Jason Tartick‘s Trading Secrets podcast. “It’s really, it’s not what we planned. We both threw a lot into this relationship, and it’s really awful when it doesn’t work out,” he said in 2023.
Allio and Maltby eventually realized “love is there, but you’re not necessarily compatible.” He mourned the loss of the future he “envisioned” with Maltby.
“You mourn the loss, not of just that person and that friend in your life, but also the future that you had envisioned,” Allio continued. “And it’s to no fault of hers.” Maltby claimed that Allio ended their relationship one day after her egg retrieval. “This breakup was not a mutual decision arriving at some perception of incompatibilities,” she said on her podcast. “However, I do hope the best for Michael, and I will always have [his son] James in my heart as we move forward separately.”
