For more than a decade of her career, Glaser has had the support of her longtime partner, Chris Convy, whom she started dating in 2013. While their relationship has been off-and-on over the years, he’s been a steady force in her life through some of her big career highlights.

Who is Nikki Glaser’s boyfriend?
Chris Convy is Glaser’s long-term boyfriend and collaborator. They both hail from St. Louis and have enjoyed living together in their home state of Missouri.
When they moved back to the midwest during the COVID-19 pandemic, they worked on Welcome Home Nikki Glaser. While in Missouri, Glaser wanted to get married. In the finale, she exclaimed, “I want so badly to be able to say, ‘Let’s just f**king do it and get married.’ We’ve been doing this off and on for eight years. Like, what are we doing?”
An engagement didn’t follow that segment, but Convy did go down on one knee — to ask her to be his emergency contact. This was enough for Glaser.
Their relationship hasn’t always been super conventional as Glaser previously mentioned that she was open to being polyamorous. In an interview with Graham Bensinger, Glaser said, “I’m a weirdo, and I like my boyfriend to at least entertain the idea of being with other women or be with them.”
She added that she entertained the idea of Convy sleeping with another woman. She did, however, draw the line at wanting to be with someone romantically. “I wouldn’t mind if [he] had a little fling with someone else, not like emotional,” she explained. “Even if she’s hotter than me or looks different than me, I don’t really care what she looks like.”
In 2022, she decided she wanted to be monogamous from then onward.
How did Nikki Glaser & Chris Convy meet?
They met on the set of Glaser’s short-lived MTV show Nikki & Sara Live in 2013.This was the comedian’s first TV show, and she was excited to meet another person from her hometown of St. Louis. Quickly, the two noticed that they had more in common than just the city they grew up in and became romantically intertwined.
However, there was a snag that made them not get together in the beginning. Glaser assumed that Convy was a heavy drinker because he was so confident. This was a problem for her, as she had quit drinking the year prior to meeting him and didn’t want to have a relationship with someone like that.
Yet, when it was finally revealed that he didn’t drink, her crush on him grew. She opened up to Bensinger and said that she “fell in love from afar.”
She continued, “I just had a crush from afar which was so fun because I was just pining for him constantly.” Glaser then compared the situation to The Office. “It was very Jim and Pam, I was Jim, and he had no idea,” she said.
What does Chris Convy do for a living?
Just like Glaser, Convy is also in the entertainment business. But, instead of being on screen, he’s behind it.
Convy is a producer. He started his career in 2007 with the MTV Video Music Awards. Since then, he has done many projects for MTV and beyond. Some of his notable work has been on The Little Mermaid Live! and 2023’s Adam Sandler: The Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
Why did Nikki Glaser and Chris Convy split?
Glaser has often spoken about how her romance with Convy has been an on-off relationship throughout the years. Having been together for over a decade, the two have had their fair share of arguments. From realizing most relationships don’t last forever, to different views on certain aspects, they have had their issues.
Their breakup spree started when they ended things after Glaser’s project Not Safe with Nikki Glaser was canceled after one season in 2016.
One thing they couldn’t agree on in the past was Glaser’s tendencies to air out her grievances on her podcast, The Nikki Glaser Podcast, instead of coming directly to Convy with her complaints.
Glaser candidly shared why she did this on The Howard Stern Show in May 2024. “Not because I thought he won’t hear them, but they would just came out naturally under the guise of ‘it’s comedy!'” she explained. “He eventually heard them and goes, ‘I don’t recognize who this person is.'”
The FBoy Island host then even divulged, “He had every reason to break up with me because it was jarring to him because I was just lying all the time.” She added, “He really got me to stop lying, I’m better at it I’m not perfect at it because I still fear abandonment, so there’s some issues in our relationship where I fear he’s going to be mad at me.”
The two eventually got back together after Glaser moved back to Missouri during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Although they split briefly in 2022, they were once again able to reconcile.
Does Nikki Glaser have kids?
No, Glaser does not have children and has mentioned that she does not see biological kids in her future. “I didn’t freeze my eggs,” she admitted on the Today show in 2024. “I’m scared to love something that much.”
However, she noted that she can “always adopt” if she changes her mind one day. “I have some time, and I really don’t care if the baby looks like me,” she added. “It’s not really interesting to me.”
