Brayden Bowers & Christina Mandrell Are Married! Bachelor Nation Couple Elopes After 1-Year Engagement

Another Bachelor Nation wedding is in the books! Christina Mandrell and Brayden Bowers, who got engaged on live television during Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist‘s Golden wedding in January 2024, are officially married.

The couple confirmed the news via a YouTube video on Tuesday, January 21, and revealed that they’d actually been keeping their elopement a secret for quite some time.

Mandrell and Bowers tied the knot in December 2024 with just their officiant and Mandrell’s daughter, Blakeley, in attendance. In a self-filmed video, the duo documented their nuptials, which took place at a gazebo on the water.

“We just got our marriage license. Nobody knows!” Bowers said at the beginning of the clip, with his bride adding, “Engagement was much different. Everybody knew.” The newlyweds picked up some flowers at Target for Blakeley to scatter down the path that led up to where they officially tied the knot.

The nuptials were a low-key affair, but Mandrell still dressed in bridal white. She wore a white dress with a slit and matching white coat, as well as a white bow at the back of her head. Bowers wore a light blue button down and navy blue suit for the occasion. After they said “I do,” the lovebirds shared a first dance, which Blakeley eventually joined in for.

Bachelor Nation got to know Mandrell on Season 27 of The Bachelor with Zach Shallcross, but she was eliminated in Episode 3. Later that year, Bowers was a contestant on Charity Lawson‘s season of The Bachelorette. He quit during week 4. Both reality stars were polarizing figures on their respective seasons.

Bowers returned for Bachelor in Paradise Season 9 and briefly dated Kat Izzo and Rachel Recchia, but was eventually sent home in episode 9. During the finale in December 2023, a “Where Are They Now?” segment revealed that Bowers had moved on with Mandrell after filming. He proposed one month later.

“For the first time in my life, I feel like I found someone that I can be myself with unapologetically,” he said while popping the question. “And I have no doubts that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
