‘Love Is Blind’ Star Tyler Francis Breaks Silence on Ashley Adionser Split: See His Statement
Two days after Ashley Adionser confirmed that she and Tyler Francis had broken up, Francis issued his first statement about the split.
Francis took to his Instagram Story on Thursday, January 23, to break his silence about the news that the Love Is Blind couple have decided to end their marriage. The two were married for less than a year after tying the knot on Season 7 of the Netflix series, which filmed in the first half of 2024.
“As many of you may have seen, Ashley shared the news of our decision to end our marriage,” Francis wrote. “This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional process for both of us, and it is one we have approached with great care and respect for one another.”
Francis admitted that his journey with Adionser “began with so much hope and love,” but said that they eventually “came to realize that there were challenges we could not overcome.” He continued, “I take full responsibility for my role in the difficulties we faced, and I respect Ashley’s decision to move forward in a way that prioritizes her peace and happiness.”

As Season 7 was airing, news broke that Francis had fathered three children as a sperm donor for his friend. While he claimed he did not have a relationship with the children and was strictly a donor, the mothers of the children told a different story. Adionser stood by her husband, but they ultimately called it quits less than three months after the reunion in October 2024.
Francis continued, “Ashley is an incredible woman, and I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for the love and support she has given me. I ask for kindness and understanding as we both move forward separately, focusing on healing and growth. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey.”
In her split statement, Adionser told PEOPLE, “After much reflection, I want to share that Tyler and I have been separated for several weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage. While I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage.”
She continued, “This was not a decision I made lightly, but one I know is necessary for my own growth and peace. While this chapter is ending, I will always hold respect for the time and love we shared. I kindly ask for privacy during this deeply personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
