‘Bachelorette’s Hannah Brown Reveals Why She & Fiancé Adam Woolard Are No Longer Living Together

Hannah Brown and her fiancé, Adam Woolard, bought a home together in October 2024, but they’re not living together in it. The Bachelorette alum shared the reasoning behind their decision to live apart on her Instagram Story.

She explained that even though she and Woolard moved in together early on in their relationship, they recently agreed that they would no longer live with each other until they tie the knot this summer.

Brown cited a renewed connection with her faith as the reason why she and Woolard decided to live apart. “For us, our faith is the most important thing to us. That was not the case when we first started dating,” she explained. “It really is something that we kind of went on a journey with together. I’d been a believer, but I think I was really questioning a lot about my faith and in God and in my direction, and Adam had really been searching for awhile but didn’t have that.”

The reality star said it was “incredible” to see her future husband “go on this journey” with her. However, doing so meant that they “had to get honest” with their relationship since they wanted “to be completely on fire for God.”

“Our relationship in general could be tough when it comes to believing and honoring what God says for marriage,” she continued. “And that being living together. We had lived together for eight months into our relationship and we decided to just trust God and we are not living in this house together until we get married this summer. It was obviously a big decision and very different, but we both separately were having these thoughts in our prayer and feeling the lord to call us to do this.”

Brown added that she and Woolard felt “relief” once they finally shared their feelings with each other and realized they were on the same page. “Yes, it’s inconvenient and some people might think, ‘Why?’ But we just have to trust what we feel like God is calling us to do,” she concluded. “We had to be obedient and, honestly, it’s been really great. I felt the most connected to Adam than I ever had, I think, because we are so intentional with the time we have together.”

The couple started dating in early 2021, and he proposed in August 2023. After living in Santa Monica at the beginning of their relationship, they moved to Nashville and bought a home there in October.

“We’re officially home owners!” Brown shared on Instagram “Having a house to make a home has been a life dream of mine. I am so honored to be able to create spaces that will hold precious memories and to live the big and small life moments between the walls. This house is so sweet already, but to make this OUR family home will be the greatest privilege.’
