Olivia Culpo Is Pregnant! Model Is Expecting Baby No. 1 With Husband Christian McCaffrey
Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey‘s family is growing! Following their June 2024 wedding, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The pregnancy announcement came after Culpo noticeably covered up with an oversized blazer while attending the 2025 Super Bowl on February 9.
One month later, Culpo announced her pregnancy on Instagram. “Next chapter, motherhood,” she captioned a post from a maternity shoot, which put her baby bump on display and featured her cradling her stomach.
Culpo and McCaffrey have been dating since 2019. He popped the question in April 2023, and they tied the knot just over a year later. Culpo has been vocal about her desire to have children, but admitted in 2022 that her now-husband wasn’t quite ready just yet.
“I’ve talked to Christian, and we’re on the same page about having kids,” she said on The Culpo Sisters. “We both want to have kids, but the timeline of that is something that is not in the foreseeable future. He is completely and totally focused on football, and he should be. He’s not ready to have kids. It’s not really an option.” At the time, McCaffrey was 26 years old and Culpo was 30.
“I always thought that by 30 I’d be married and have kids,” she said. “I’m definitely the kind of person who likes to have a plan. Right now, I have no plan because I have so many question marks. So I’m freaking out.” The model’s endometriosis diagnosis also added to her fears, as she worried it could affect her ability to get pregnant.
“I just can’t help but wonder when Christian and I will take our relationship in that direction,” she added. “It’s overwhelming because I want that so badly. … I want to go to the next step. I want to have kids. I want to feel like it’s in the near future for me.” She also admitted that she wants “four or five” kids total.
Well, three years later, Culpo is getting her wish! While McCaffrey is still thriving in his football career with the San Francisco 49ers, he’s apparently come around to adding little ones to the mix too.
