‘The Bachelor’s Kelsey Anderson Gives Exciting Update on Wedding Planning With Joey Graziadei
Now that it’s been well over a year since Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei got engaged, are they finally taking the next steps towards planning their wedding? The couple hasn’t rushed into walking down the aisle as they’ve been building their life together away from Bachelor cameras.
Graziadei popped the question in October 2023, although the news wasn’t made public until The Bachelor finale aired months later in March 2024. Anderson is now revealing exactly where they stand with their plans to walk down the aisle.
“It’s so funny, literally this week Joey came up to me, he’s like, ‘Kelsey, we need to start planning our wedding,'” the Louisiana native told E! News. “And I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re right.’ Because it takes so long. You have to plan it in advance.”
There’s still a lot to be done, though, as the couple still hasn’t “narrowed down” a destination or a date yet. “We’re definitely starting it and excited to see where [it is] because we have family all over the place. So we’ll see where it is, but still in the process of figuring it out.”
In January, Anderson told PEOPLE that she and her fiancé would start the planning process “in the next six months,” so they’re definitely a little ahead of schedule!
When it comes to what she’s envisioned for her big day, Anderson admitted to E! that she wants a “timeless” vibe, but doesn’t “really have a whole lot of ideas” heading into the process. “I’ve never planned my wedding before,” she pointed out. “I don’t really have a Pinterest board. But now that it’s coming up, I’ve definitely been looking up different types of vibes recently, and I just really love a beautiful, timeless wedding.”
For now, she and Graziadei are getting accustomed to their new life in Los Angeles, where they moved following his stint on Dancing with the Stars last fall. They haven’t spent too much time in the City of Angels, though. Just last week, they were back in Anderson’s native New Orleans for the Super Bowl, which was followed by a trip to Hawaii.
