Jenna Bush Hager has sparked concern among Today viewers after not wearing her wedding ring on recent episodes of the morning snow. The Today With Jenna & Friends host has seen the online chatter about the status of her marriage due to her missing bling.

During the February 26 episode, she addressed fan concern and gave an update about where things stand with her husband, Henry Chase Hager.

“I’m not wearing one now because I broke my finger,” Jenna explained. “But don’t worry, I’ve seen some of the comments, Henry and I are still very happily married.” The two have been married since 2008 and share three children.

The injury actually took place months ago, with Jenna first telling former co-host Hoda Kotb in August 2024 that she had gotten hurt. “I’ve tripped, I got a black eye, I broke my ring finger,” she explained. “Henry claims I just sprained it, but it was blue.”

After explaining that things are just fine in her marriage, Jenna recalled another time when she had a mishap with her ring. When Today anchor Savannah Guthrie turned 50 at the end of 2021, she hosted a party and things got a bit wild for Jenna, who stayed at the bash even after her husband went home.

“I woke up the next morning, I look down at my engagement ring, and one of the stones was gone,” Jenna recounted. “I was already a little bit on thin ice [with Henry] from my wild behavior. So I looked down and I’m like, ‘Oh no, do I tell him this now or do I wait?’ I went ahead and said, ‘Honey, you know, I lost a little bit of dignity last night. I also lost your grandmother’s sapphire.'”

Luckily her husband is a “tolerant” person and was “okay” with the loss. “My mom calls him a saint, which is really saying that I’m difficult to be with,” Jenna joked. “But anyway, I never found it again.”
