Dylan Efron is no longer just Zac Efron‘s little brother! He made a name for himself by winning Season 3 of The Traitors, and now he’s hoping to become the next mirrorball champion on Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars.
As Efron continues to make viewers swoon every week, fans have been wondering if the younger Efron is single or taken. The 33-year-old mostly keeps his personal life out of the public eye, but he’s shared details about his relationship status here and there. So, who is the special someone in Efron’s life? Does Dylan Efron have a girlfriend?
Yes, Efron is taken — sorry, ladies! “I’m in a relationship,” Efron told podcast hosts Nick Viall and Natalie Joy on The Viall Files podcast back in March. Efron revealed that he met his girlfriend, Courtney King, back in high school. “It’s cool because she’s actually not on social media,” he explained, which is part of the reason why the two are able to keep their relationship so private.

In a recent interview during Season 34, Efron admitted that DWTS has been tough on his relationship due to the grueling schedule. “It’s trying right now,” Efron said in an October 2025 interview with Viall. “But she’s so supportive. She knows I love her, 100 percent. So it’s like, we know it’s all temporary, so that’s why I don’t think anything’s really changed. I know it’s hard for us right now, but we’re still where we are. We still love each other and, yeah, we’re in a great place.”
Who is Dylan Efron’s girlfriend?
The lady in Efron’s life is Courtney King. They are “from the same town,” he revealed.
“It’s not like I’m hiding her from the world or anything,” Efron added. “She understands the job, all the stuff. She doesn’t really like being on camera.” He also pointed out that he even included a photo of King in one of his recent Instagram dumps. The image showed her rock climbing in Joshua Tree. She first appeared on his Instagram page as far back as 2016, so the relationship is certainly not new.

“She’s a trooper,” Efron confirmed, praising his girlfriend for joining him in his love of extreme sports. “She can keep up.”
While Efron didn’t reveal what King’s job is, he did confirm that she “works a 40-hour week job,” which seemingly confirms that she’s not in the entertainment industry like he is.
However, she appears to have a flexible schedule because she frequently travels with Efron. “The cool thing that’s changed is we started traveling together a lot more,” he told Viall. “Like, for a lot of these trips I’ll do with brands or whatever, I get to bring her with me. I think incorporating her more into that has helped our relationship a lot.”
Do Dylan Efron and his girlfriend live together?
Although Efron hasn’t specified how long he’s been dating King, the hunk confirmed that he and King “just moved in” together at the time of the March podcast. He also admitted that an engagement is “something that’s definitely” in the future. “Well, she knows the answer. We’re working on it. King’s so down-to-earth, she’d never [impose a deadline],” he insisted. “Look, we’re 33. She’s not going to put a deadline on it.”
And, yes, he wants kids, especially after spending so much time with his two younger half-siblings. “I am now in that stage of I’m looking at the next chapter,” Efron shared. “I want kids. Like, I got a little brother and sister who are, like, 4 and 5 now, so I got to see the joy of them growing up, and I want that for myself, too.”
