Christina Haack & Ant Anstead Give Coparenting Update After ‘The Flip Off’ Reunion

Christina Haack and Ant Anstead were in a good place when he served as a guest judge on her show The Flip Off, but have they maintained their amicable relationship?
Things weren’t always rosy between the exes. In fact, they were involved in a contentious custody battle over their now 5-year-old son, Hudson, in 2022.
However, things seem to be going just fine between the pair today. On Monday, March 10, they reunited for one of Hudson’s school events, and even made a joint post on Instagram from it. “Our little gentleman CRUSHED his school performance this morning,” Anstead captioned the image, which featured him and Haack holding up the child. “He’s thriving x.”

Haack and Anstead had both been married before when they started dating in 2017. They tied the knot in December 2018, and Hudson was born nine months later. After separating in September 2020, the duo divorced the following year. Anstead filed for full custody of Hudson in April 2022, but he and Haack eventually reached a settlement and agreed to share custody.
They remained estranged until Haack’s split from third husband Josh Hall in July 2024. On The Flip Off, Haack recalled how Anstead supported her amid the messy split (Haack and Hall’s divorce has still not been finalized).
“I went over to [Ant’s] house to pick up Hudson because I was taking him to a birthday party, and when I walked up to the door, he gave me a huge hug,” she shared. “We hadn’t hugged in years. He just said, ‘I’m so sorry for everything you’re going through, and I’m here for you no matter what you need.’ It was a very nice moment.”
The sweet gesture led to the exes having a “long talk” where they agreed to put the past behind them and focus on coparenting their son. Their newly-amicable relationship was put on display during Anstead’s Flip Off appearance, where he chose Haack as the winner against Tarek El Moussa and Heather El Moussa for the guest bedroom and bathroom portion of the competition.
Anstead admitted to being biased in his decision. “[We] will be connected forever because we have a kid,” he explained. “So ultimately, I have to stand by the mother of my kid. It’s not going to be something that you want to hear because, unfortunately, it puts Christina and me on the same team forever. So, unfortunately, this judge is swayed. My parents raised me and said, ‘Your family, you stick with your family.’ Regardless of rules, regardless of performance, when I left the house this morning, Christina had already won.”
