The Call Her Daddy host’s Unwell Productions is collaborating with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ producer Jeff Jenkins Productions to create the newest dating craze for Hulu. So, when can we expect Overboard for Love? Swooon has all the latest updates.
What is Overboard for Love about?
As the title suggests, Overboard for Love actually takes place at sea. Yes, the contestants will all be aboard a yacht — how fancy! But, don’t get too excited for them. They will have to work in order to get some of the luxurious perks. This will make it more than just a dating show. There will also be a game aspect to it.
According to Deadline‘s report, the show will feature “sexy singles” who are “ready to mix and mingle … and find love.” The series will have plenty of entertaining aspects, such as romances, alliances, and the drama of hearts being shattered. “In the end, only one couple will reign supreme. Who will rise to the top, and who will be left stranded?”
When is Overboard for Love coming out?
There’s no official release date yet, but we hope that will follow shortly! The yacht vibe could suggest a spring or summer filming schedule. If all goes according to plan, the show could be release late 2025 or early 2026.
How is Alex Cooper involved?
The 30-year-old star has proven herself to be a savvy businesswoman. Cooper will be an executive producer of the series, but it’s unclear if she’ll host as well.
