Will Kendra Wilkinson & Hank Baskett Reunite? Her Surprising Relationship Update
Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett have been divorced since 2018, but that doesn’t mean that The Girls Next Door alum is done with him. The duo share two kids, Hank Randall Baskett IV, 15, and Alijah Mary, 10. They have joint custody of their kids and a great co-parenting relationship.
Talking to hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes on their podcast Amy & TJ, the 39-year-old didn’t completely close the door on reuniting with Baskett.
When asked if the former twosome would ever get back together, Wilkinson confessed, “I think that we would both have to be healed properly, and I don’t know that other person’s healing. I’m not that person, so I think it just has to do with timing, healing, and the wanting to be in a relationship. And some people don’t want to be in a relationship. If it’s not with my ex-husband Hank, I don’t find it fun to want to settle for someone. I’m kind of in a fun zone right now.”
Wilkinson and the former NFL player were married from 2009 to 2018. They split after Baskett confessed to cheating on Wilkinson in 2014 when she was eight months pregnant.
Opening up about how her life has changed since her divorce, Wilkinson admitted that dating today is hard. However, she’d consider marrying again with the right person. “Who knows, maybe later, I want that again,” she said. “But let me tell you something: I have not found it yet. I have not found that thing again. This dating life, it’s brutal, it’s gross, it’s hard, and I’m not finding a marriage #2 just yet.”
Yet, her adventures as a bachelorette aren’t all bad. Wilkinson is grateful for taking the time to find herself. She links her current ideology back to her time at the Playboy Mansion.
The current real estate agent became one of Hugh Hefner‘s girlfriends at 18, so she lived a very different kind of life compared to other teenagers. At 23, she left and moved on with Baskett. Thinking back on that time, she recalled, “It was the right timing. I found myself so bored at the Playboy Mansion. I was just like, ‘I’m ready to leave this place. I’m ready to start a family. I’m ready for the … lifestyle.'”
She added, “My kids go to a great school. I’m a soccer mom. I’m a softball mom. I’m a basketball mom. I manifested it, and it came to me, and I met the perfect man, the man of my dreams. Even though we’re divorced, he’s the father of my kids, and he’s the most amazing father to my kids, and I know I chose right with him.”
