‘Golden Bachelorette’ Star Mark Anderson Gives Rare Update About Barbara Alyn Woods Romance
Mark Anderson will for sure not be the next Golden Bachelor. Although fans were rallying for Kelsey Anderson‘s “hot dad” to take on the leading role, the 56-year-old has already found love again — and a famous one at that.
He’s been in a committed relationship with One Tree Hill alum Barbara Alyn Woods for several months now. While Anderson and Woods are public about their romance, they haven’t spoken about their love much since they got together.
Anderson spilled the beans on how he met Woods on Golden Hour podcast with hosts Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts. He met his now-girlfriend at a Halloween party in 2024. Although he didn’t specify which one, Anderson and Woods’ romance rumors first started after they were pictured at a Halloween party together. The One Tree Hill alum posted a photo of her and Anderson in Cinderella and Prince Charming costumes.
Since Halloween, their relationship has only gotten stronger. The army veteran admitted, “It’s kinda neat. She’s got kids the same age as my kids, and there’s just a lot of similarities there.”
For now, the couple is living in two separate places. Anderson is still working and living in Louisiana, while Woods is based in California. “I do travel quite a bit. We’ve been able to meet up in a few places,” he noted.
The families even combined their holiday celebrations. “Like at Christmas, we got to do a great time together with Christmas,” Anderson said. “We just had a lot of fun.”

Besides his love life, he also talked about his daughter, fellow Bachelor Nation favorite Kelsey Anderson. “Kelsey is doing great. Her and Joey keeping super busy with everything.”
He then went on to gush about his future son-in-law, Joey Graziadei. “Joey is still doing the Dancing With the Stars tour,” Anderson stated. His family is very supportive of The Bachelor Season 28 lead as the proud dad expressed, “One of my daughters and I believe my son, oldest son are going to try to see them in San Antonio.”
