‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Preview: Will Samantha Leave? She Debates Her Future With John (VIDEO)
Samantha Riehl is the Farmer Wants a Wife contestant everyone is talking about. John Sansone invited her back to his farm first after they hit it off, and then she shocked him by rejecting his kiss. In Swooon’s exclusive preview of the April 10 episode, Samantha opens up to host Kimberly Williams-Paisley about where her relationship with John stands.
“Sparks are flying, for sure,” Samantha says. “But I’m just such a person that’s… I need so much time. I need to know the ins and outs of every single part of you before I can decide if John and I are compatible and if we do have a future. I haven’t had enough time with him to be like, ‘Oh, 100 percent, you are it.'”
Samantha acknowledges that John is “very much someone that likes to sit in the driver’s seat. But at the same time, I am very much a girl that is also going to be in the driver’s seat. You have to be honest. I have to be honest. But that’s kind of what I’m trying to get out of tonight.”
If she doesn’t get to a stronger place with John, Samantha knows she’ll have to have a “big conversation” with him.
In a separate confessional, Samantha admits the “stress” of the show is starting to weigh on her. “I’m not at a point where I can definitely say that I want to be with him as of right now,” she says.
Samantha has been vocal about what she wants and needs in her relationship. “I’ve said from the beginning if I don’t think things are working and I don’t think that he’s my person then I will not hesitate to leave. I just hope that John and I have a good conversation and it goes well,” she adds.
