How Is ‘The Bachelor’s Litia Garr Friends With the Women From Zach Shallcross’ Season?

Even before Season 29 of The Bachelor finished airing, fans noticed that Litia Garr, one of Grant Ellis‘ contestants, was spending a lot of time with the women from Zach Shallcross‘ season of the show. It was an interesting crossover, as the ladies were two years removed from their own time on the show.
In addition to other hangouts, Garr joined a group of Shallcross’ contestants on a trip to Montana in February. While she looked like she fit right in, it was recognized that she was the only person who wasn’t on Season 27 of The Bachelor. So, how did this friendship come about?
Kaity Biggar, who is now engaged to Shallcross after getting his final rose, gave some insight into how Garr joined the crew. It all stemmed from when she spent time with Garr in the Dominican Republic because she was asked to make a Bachelor cameo and give advice during fantasy suites week.

“Still getting lots of these questions,” Biggar admitted during an Instagram Q&A. “I was flown out to the DR for Grant’s season to help her through FS week. From there we grew a friendship. She’s beyond kind, compassionate, smart, and has a great head on her shoulders. Nothing but amazing things to say about her.”
Garr ended up being Ellis’ runner-up after he chose to get engaged to Juliana Pasquarosa at the final rose ceremony. Unlike Biggar, who has maintained a close relationship with her fiancé’s exes, Pasquarosa has seemingly distanced herself from the other women on Season 29. In fact, she admitted to being “hurt” by Garr’s actions since the finale aired.
“I thought there was a good relationship but it seems like actions since [After the Final Rose] and moving forward have not been the kindest and that took me by surprise and my feelings were hurt by it for sure,” the Boston native shared.
She added, “I think the first stab that I felt was when she brought my name up in the breakup. I think that that was uncalled for. Then to continue to make kind of those jabs on stage, saying she is glad that this isn’t a part of her love story and that she deserves a man that’s not so confused up until the last second, when Grant and I know the reality of it and that was strictly a jab at me, I think that those things took me back.”
In a separate interview, Garr responded to the comment. “I meant everything that I said. I think Juliana is beautiful, and I think she’s great, and anything that I’ve done that has been offensive to someone — that’s not my intention,” she shared. She also addressed staying friends with most of the other women from the season, while Pasquarosa hasn’t.
“I feel bad that that hasn’t been her experience. That’s not my intention,” Garr explained. “I’m not gonna make my friendship smaller or ask my friends not to support me. I’m not gonna ask them to support me or to pick anything [either]. They’re all their own people, and they’re supporting the people that they want to. And I think everyone, as far as I’m concerned, supports everyone. The women have all had their own, you know, issues with Grant and things right to them, and I think that’s important to remember. It’s not necessarily anything to do with her. It’s probably more to do with him. I can only speak for myself.”
