Who Is Hallmark Star Erin Cahill’s Husband? Inside Her Marriage to Paul Freeman

Erin Cahill often finds herself at the center of romantic storylines in her various Hallmark projects, but what is her love life like in real life? The actress, who stars in the new Hallmark movie Journey to You, is happily married to her husband, Paul Freeman.
Scroll down to learn more about Cahill’s husband, their relationship, and how she once set the record straight about a rumored famous ex!
Who is Erin Cahill’s husband?
Freeman is a Welsh singer and musician. After working at a recording studio in high school, he moved to London and picked up a gig as James Blunt‘s guitarist. He eventually moved to California and was connected to Clive Davis, who signed him to Arista Records.
The couple tied the knot in September 2016 in Côte d’Azur, France. They live in Los Angeles and Nashville, Cahill told Southern Living in 2024. “Nashville is where my yard is, so it’s where my heart is,” she admitted.
In September 2022, Cahill gushed over Freeman in honor of their six-year wedding anniversary. “Six years ago today I married the love of all my lifetimes. @paulfreemanreal every single day with you is the greatest gift,” she wrote on Instagram. “You are the best of everything I could’ve dreamt and beyond what I could’ve wished for. I’m so grateful for you my soulmate.”
Cahill and Freeman are very involved with the non-profit organization buildOn, which builds schools in developing countries to “unite people through service and education to ignite a more equitable future.”
Does Erin Cahill have kids?
Cahill and Freeman don’t have any children together and have not publicly spoken about their family plans. They do have a dog, though!

Did Erin Cahill date Seal?
In 2013, photos surfaced of Cahill on an apparent lunch date with Seal in Los Angeles. At the time, it was reported that they “hit it off” after meeting at a charity function just two days earlier.
A few weeks later, the actress set the record straight in an interview with MaximoTV. “That was so blown out of proportion,” she insisted. “I met a celebrity on a Tuesday night at a charity event, we went to lunch on Wednesday, and Thursday we were getting married in the tabloids. So, God bless it, that was not even remotely related to true.”
However, she did make sure to add that Seal is her “favorite musician,” and said, “He is such a lovely human and we met at a charity event. It’s perfectly appropriate. He’s just lovely, a lovely person.” She also clarified that (at the time) she was “single and taking applications.”
