‘Golden Bachelor’ Star Gerry Turner’s Girlfriend Revealed! Meet Lana Sutton
The Golden Bachelor star is off the market! Gerry Turner recently confirmed that he has a new lady in his life, but he initially kept her identity a secret. However, we soon learned that Turner’s new girlfriend is named Lana Sutton.
Turner first shared Sutton’s identity with TMZ and disclosed more information about how they met, what she does for a living, and more. Just a few days after debuting his new woman, Turner hard-launched their relationship on Instagram. He posted adorable photos from their recent trip to Charleston together.

How did Gerry and Lana meet?
The senior couple met on social media! Yes, Sutton slid into Turner’s DMs … on Facebook. Turner told TMZ that he gets a lot of Facebook requests these days. He accepted Sutton because they had mutual friends on the social networking site.
The Indiana native said that Sutton reached out to him first, but he ignored her initial message. However, when she messaged again and revealed that she lived in Indiana and grew up about 20 minutes away from him, he was intrigued. He responded to that one, and they eventually made plans to meet up.
When did Gerry and Lana start dating?
After their Facebook messaging, Sutton and Turner went on their first date in March, he confirmed. He also said he felt it was “love at first sight” when he saw her for the first time.
Things got serious very quickly between the two. She’s already met his two daughters and some of his friends, while he’s met some of her children, as well.

“I think, at this point, it’s going well,” Turner said on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in mid-April, before he revealed Sutton’s identity. “But I don’t want to say too much and jinx it. I’m trying to, respectfully, get to a point where there’s an acceptable amount of time from my divorce. Maybe that’s an old fashioned thought, maybe it doesn’t matter as much as I think it does, but to be respectful, I kind of want to slow roll this.”
On April 26, Turner went Instagram official with Sutton. “I can’t believe how many people in Charleston recognized us and wished us the best,” Turner captioned a series of Instagram photos. His ex, Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos, and Bachelor Nation host Jesse Palmer liked the post.
What does Lana do?
Sutton is a retired teacher. She was also previously the part-owner of a video production company called Neverends Productions, according to her LinkedIn.

Does Lana have kids?
Yes, she has three children: Rachel, Nate, and Jordan. She also became a grandmother for the first time in September 2024 when Rachel and her husband, Noah, welcomed a son, Shepherd.

“The most incredible thing happened today!” Sutton gushed on Instagram. “Rach and Noah became parents and I became a grandma to Shepherd James Patten! He is a gift from God who is loved beyond measure already! Truly blessed!”
Sutton was previously married to Robert Sutton, whom she seemingly divorced in 2007.
How old is Lana?
Sutton is “in her mid-50s,” according to Turner. That means she’s pretty significantly younger than him (Turner turned 73 in August 2024.)
Turner was previously married to Toni Turner for 43 years before she died in 2017. He then tied the knot with Theresa Nist in January 2024, but they split just three months later and their divorce was finalized in June 2024.
