Who Is Amanda Kloots’ New Boyfriend? Meet Justin Gimelstob
Amanda Kloots has found love again! Nearly five years after the death of her husband, Nick Cordero, the Dancing With the Stars alum is now dating Justin Gimelstob.
The couple confirmed their relationship by attending a benefit for the Women’s Cancer Research Fund together on Monday, April 28. They took photos together on the red carpet and Kloots told People that things have been “absolutely lovely” with her new man.
However, she also noted that the relationship is “very new” and that she and Gimelstob are still in the “courting” phase of the romance. Scroll down to learn more about the new guy in Kloots’ life.
How did Amanda Kloots and Justin Gimelstob meet?
The two first crossed paths at a Formula 1 race in Las Vegas in November 2023. However, they didn’t go on a date until about a year and a half later, she confirmed.
“I was admiring her well before she gave me a shot,” Gimelstob admitted. The duo has mutual friends who officially introduced them, and they became friends first before the relationship progressed.

“It kind of happened very naturally, which is great,” Kloots gushed. It also helped to start out as friends because Kloots’ 5-year-old son, Elvis, was able to meet Gimelstob as his mom’s friend first.
Who is Justin Gimelstob?
Kloots’ boyfriend is a retired tennis player. He won the 1998 Australian Open and 1998 French Open with Venus Williams in the mixed doubles category. After retiring from the sport in 2007, he began blogging and reporting on tennis, although a string of controversies derailed some of his post-career gigs.
Today, he runs the Justin Gimelstob Children’s Fund, a charity that raises money for pediatric cancer and blood diseases. He’s also the president of FBR Group, an insurance agency.
“My goal is to continue my father’s legacy of helping our clients find the best insurance based financial solutions giving them the opportunity to maximize the success they’ve had in their lives,” his website says.
Does Justin Gimelstob have kids?
Yes, he has one son named Brandon. The former tennis player shares Brandon with ex-wife, Cary Sinnott, whom he married in 2012 and separated from in 2015.
Gimelstob and Sinnott were involved in a custody battle over Brandon until at least 2022. It’s unclear if they settled the suit.
