‘Love Is Blind’s Mason Horacek & Meg Fink Reveal Exact Moment They Got Back Together

For Love Is Blind Season 8 couple Mason Horacek and Meg Fink, third time’s the charm. After dating in the pods and leaving separately, followed by a brief reunion before the show aired, these two have given their relationship another try.
Fans of the Netflix series were thrilled to see Horacek and Fink reunite, especially because they had stressed at the Season 8 reunion that there were just friends. “We were at the time,” Horacek said on a new episode of Blind Love with Zack & Bliss.
But when did they officially get back together? The people need details! It wasn’t until the show’s South by Southwest reunion screening in Austin, Texas, in March. Horacek admitted that they “got a little comfortable” watching the reunion, and Meg revealed that they kissed that night.
“When we kissed, I knew it was game over. It’s like, okay, this is it,” a bashful Horacek said. He was in Fink’s hotel room, and they were “just kind of venting to each other” about what had happened earlier. She started giving him a massage because his shoulder was hurting, and things evolved to a kiss from there.
“I think we both knew it was pretty obvious. It was like, okay, we’re feeling each other,” Horacek added. Upon their return to Minneapolis, Horacek went straight to his mom about Fink. “He’s like, ‘I told my mom we’re going to try it again,'” Fink recalled.
They initially wanted to keep their renewed romance under wraps because they wanted to figure everything out “for ourselves,” according to Fink. “We had so many conversations about ‘we do not ever want to feel pressure from the show to date again,'” she added.
In a previous interview, Horacek and Fink explained why their relationship didn’t work out the first two times. Horacek revealed on the Dear Shandy podcast that his people-pleasing nature led to issues. “Dating Meg, she wanted someone who had their own opinions and just essentially backbone, like make up your own decision,” he said.
Their friendship period ultimately built the foundation for a healthy romantic relationship. “I don’t have to do anything to be accepted and loved by Mason,” Fink said.
