Are ‘The Bachelor’s Jason Mesnick & Molly Malaney Still Married?
It’s been more than 17 years since Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney met on Season 13 of The Bachelor, which aired at the beginning of 2009. The two tied the knot in February 2010 in a televised wedding, but getting down the aisle didn’t happen in the most traditional way for them, even by Bachelor Nation standards.
Mesnick actually got engaged to Melissa Rycroft on The Bachelor and dumped Malaney at the final rose ceremony. However, he ended things with Rycroft on After the Final Rose in March 2009 and asked Malaney for a second chance. They gave the relationship another go and wound up getting engaged just seven months later in New Zealand.

Are Jason and Molly still married?
Yes, they’re going strong. The couple celebrated their 15-year wedding anniversary in February 2025.
In honor of their anniversary, Mesnick paid tribute to his wife on Instagram, gushing, “Molly, 15 years ago, I somehow convinced you to say ‘yes’ (even after a bit of a detour—oops ), and it’s still the best decision I’ve ever made. From that wild Bachelor start to the incredible life we’ve built together, I wouldn’t change a thing.”
He added, “You are my best friend, my greatest adventure, and the person who makes every day more fun. Whether we’re traveling, laughing at our own jokes, or just navigating the chaos of life, there’s no one I’d rather do it with.”

She also acknowledged the occasion on social media by writing, “@jasonmesnick is the real hero for putting up with my crazy day in and day out. He is my calm, my voice of reason and my safe place. On top of that, there is no question he is the most amazing dad. Thank you for being you, Jason Mesnick. There is not a single person I would rather do life with! I love you!”
Do Jason and Molly have kids?
Yes, the couple has a daughter named Riley, who was born in March 2013. Mesnick also has a son, Ty, from his first marriage to Hilary Buckholz, whom he wed in 2003 and divorced in 2007.

When Ty turned 18 in 2023, Mesnick paid tribute on Instagram. “I am so dang proud of the man you have become.” he shared. “Your confidence, generosity, love, and compassion are contagious. You have been my heartbeat since the day you were born and cannot believe how fast time has flown by. I love you more than life itself. Go crush life buddy… but daddy is always here for you.”
Where do Jason and Molly live?
Mesnick and Malaney now reside in Washington. They own the Mesnick Group, a real estate firm based in Seattle.

For the most part, Mesnick and Malaney have removed themselves from the world of Bachelor Nation. However, they did come out of hiding to attend Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist‘s wedding in January 2024.

“It’s been a loooooooooong time since we’ve participated in anything Bachelor,” Molly shared. “At first, I felt very out of my element & slightly uncomfortable. We don’t live in that world anymore. There were so many people from the show I didn’t know. Younger, cooler, prettier, all the things, but we did meet some really really really incredible people and ended up having the best time!”
