Lacey Chabert Reveals the One Hallmark Role She Wants to Revive ‘So Badly’

Lacey Chabert has made the Hallmark Channel her second home. Since 2010’s Elevator Girl to 2025’s An Unexpected Valentine, Chabert has starred in over 40 Hallmark films.
And she’s not slowing down. The actress has signed a new multi-picture deal with Hallmark for 2025 and beyond. Chabert’s played so many memorable characters in beloved Hallmark films, but there’s one particular role she wishes she could return to for one more movie.
“I always wanted to make another All of My Heart,” Chabert told Swooon. “It didn’t happen, but I just wanted to see those characters one more time so badly. But I love working with Brennan [Elliott]. I mean, 10 movies now.”
All of My Heart celebrated its tenth anniversary this year. The film premiered on Hallmark Channel on February 14, 2015.
The movie follows a young caterer (Chabert) whose life changes course when she inherits a country home and learns she must share it with a career-obsessed Wall Street trader (Elliott). At first, these two do not get along, but their feelings start to change when they have to work side-by-side to restore their newly acquired home.
“He’s a dear friend, and when you have that level of comfort and trust with someone, you just walk on set and there’s an ease to it that’s really, really, really appreciated. He’s just wonderful, so I hope we do more together,” Chabert said about her costar.
The success of All of My Heart led to two sequels, All of My Heart: Inn Love and All of My Heart: The Wedding. If it were up to Chabert, there’d be a fourth All of My Heart movie!
Chabert and Elliott reunited for their 10th Hallmark movie, His & Hers, in 2024. Elliott previously told Swooon that his partnership with Chabert is far from over.
“We’re always trying to find something to do together,” Elliott said. “I would be very hard-pressed not to. I truly believe that the Lacey-Brennan making movies or making content together is not over at all.”
