Sara Carton and Joey Leveille have insisted that they’re not romantically involved, but they sure do seem to be spending a lot of time together. Most recently, the Love Is Blind stars were seen out together in New York City.

Video of the rumored couple hanging out at Ethyl’s Bar & Restaurant in the early hours of the morning surfaced online on Sunday, May 4.

In the clip, obtained by TMZ, Carton and Leveille were holding drinks and chatting with each other. There was a third person in their small group as well. A witness told the site that the reality stars left the bar together around 1:30 a.m., but noted that there were no obvious signs of PDA.

Carton and Leveille got engaged to other people on Love Is Blind. He was with Monica Danús while she accepted a proposal from Ben Mezzenga. However, neither couple ever made it down the aisle.

Around the time of the Love Is Blind reunion in March, the hosts of the Reality Receipts podcast revealed they heard from sources that Carton and Leveille were an item. However, Carton denied the rumors during an appearance on The Viall Files podcast.

“Well, to be clear, me and Joey are not dating,” she insisted. Sara explained that she and Leveille developed a “really great friendship” on the show but didn’t reconnect until about five months after filming ended. After a group trip to Nashville, the pair’s friendship blossomed. “I don’t know what the future will hold… But, I do know for right now, I definitely have no capacity to even think about a relationship,” Carton said at the time of the March interview.

However, Danús said that Carton had a different story to tell when she texted her to ask if the rumors were true. “[Sarah] called me and said, ‘Nothing’s official, but we are seeing each other,'” Danús claimed. “She said they didn’t want to make anything official until any online hate dies down. She told me this started a month ago, so that’s at least two months ago now.”

While appearing on the Curious Crossroads podcast in March, Leveille stuck by Carton’s public version of events. “Sara and I just have become close,” he said. “We’ve been, like, really good friends, really supportive. You kind of lean on each other a lot during this, ’cause it’s intense. It’s, like, a lot. There’s a lot of emotions that go behind it, so I would say in the last month or so, her and I became really close.”

He added, “We kind of discussed if there could be any potential there, any interest there, and ultimately we just decided, ‘I don’t think either of us are in the capacity to do that right now,’ and so we’re kind of remaining this really close support system for each other.”
