Rihanna’s Pregnant! Singer Confirms Baby #3 With A$AP Rocky at Met Gala
You can always count on Rihanna for a memorable pregnancy announcement! The singer and beauty mogul confirmed she’s pregnant with her third child on fashion’s biggest night.
The “Diamonds” singer didn’t initially walk the blue carpet A$AP Rocky, who is a co-chair this year. Rihanna was spotted by fans ahead of the Met Gala rocking a two-piece outfit that showed off her bump. Celebrity photographer, Miles Diggs, shared the first official photos of Rihanna showing off her bump. He famously took the first photos of Rihanna when she announced her first pregnancy.
She later walked the carpet solo in the Met Gala’s grand finale, donning a stunning tailored gown, short jacket, and hat. “It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy, you know,” A$AP Rocky told AP on the carpet after Rihanna confirmed the news.

This isn’t Rihanna’s first attention-grabbing pregnancy confirmation. When she headlined the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show in Glendale, Arizona, the singer revealed her second pregnancy to the world during her performance.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child, RZA, in 2021, followed by Riot in 2023. The Fenty founder has been open about wanting to expand her family. When asked about more kids in the future, Rihanna told Interview that she’ll have “as many as God wants me to have.”
She added, “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
The couple, who started dating at the end of 2019, made their Met Gala debut in 2021. Rihanna stepped out in a giant coat dress, while A$AP Rocky was wrapped in a multi-colored quilt. This also marked the couple’s first-ever red carpet appearance together. They returned to the Met Gala in 2023.
Ahead of the 2025 Met Gala, A$AP Rocky gushed to Vogue that his love for Rihanna is “internal, external, infinite, the past, the future.” The rapper’s grandmother, Cathy, spoke very highly of grandson’s partner. “I’m glad that he settled down, and I’m happy with who he settled down with. She’s a down-to-earth person,” she told the publication.
