Are ‘Survivor’ Season 33 Stars Figgy & Taylor Still Together?
Season 33 of Survivor featured one of the show’s most notorious showmances between Taylor Stocker and Jessica “Figgy” Figueroa. They came in 12th and 15th place, respectively, but even though they weren’t on the show for very long, they managed to form a close bond that turned romantic.
It’s been almost 10 years since the show aired in 2016, and fans are still looking for updates on Taylor and Figgy. So, where do they stand now? Scroll down for a refresher.
Are Taylor and Figgy still together?
No, Figgy and Taylor’s romance didn’t last long in the real world. Although they “dated for a couple of months after the show,” she confirmed, they eventually went their separate ways.
“There was a real-life situation that I found out after the game, and it led to Taylor and I not being together,” Figgy confirmed to Entertainment Weekly after her elimination episode aired in October 2016.
Why did Figgy and Taylor split?
Although Figgy stayed tight-lipped about the “real-life situation” she was referring to in her post-show interviews, Taylor came clean when he did press a few weeks later.
“When I returned from Fiji, I found out I had a son on the way,” Taylor told EW. “And just to do what was best for my family, then called things off with her. I know she was super hurt about that. So it still kind of sucks with that. She’s a great gal and know she’s got a good future ahead of her.”
By the time the show was airing, Figgy and Taylor were not on speaking terms, although they did have to reunite at the live reunion show in December 2016.
Is Taylor married?
After finding out about his son, Taylor reunited with his then-pregnant girlfriend, Kate. She gave birth to their son, Erik, in November 2016, and she and Taylor tied the knot in January 2018.

On Taylor and Kate’s six-year anniversary in 2024, he paid tribute to her on Instagram, writing, “6 years ago I tied the knot with my better half. The question still remains… @jqskim @survivoradam who really is more crazy? Me, or the one who married me?”
Is Figgy married?
Figgy also got her happily ever after. In November 2023, she announced that she had gotten engaged to boyfriend Austin Dirks. They tied the knot in Tennessee in September 2024.
In November 2020, Figgy and Austin celebrated their four-year anniversary, which meant she had already moved on from Taylor by the time the finale of their Survivor season aired.
