Who Is ‘American Idol’ Star Thunderstorm Artis’ Wife? All About His Marriage to Faith
Thunderstorm Artis is in the Top 7 on Season 23 of American Idol, and he earned that spot after performing a sweet serenade to his wife, Faith Artis, during the May 5 episode.
Faith has been in the crowd cheering on Thunderstorm throughout the competition, and his devotion to her has not gone unnoticed. The two had just met the last time Thunderstorm was on a singing competition show (he came in third place on The Voice in 2020), so their relationship has blossomed quite a bit since then.

How did Thunderstorm Artis meet his wife?
The couple met in December 2019 when Faith and her family were visiting Hawaii from Australia. They attended Thunderstorm’s dad Ron Artis’ concert, where Thunderstorm performed as a special guest.
After Thunderstorm and Faith were introduced at the show, he invited her and her family to his birthday party just a few days later. Three weeks after Faith and her family left Hawaii, Thunderstorm surprised her by flying to Australia and spending five weeks there. During that trip, he proposed.
Thunderstorm returned home at the beginning of March 2020, but by the middle of the month (right before the world shut down, it seems), Faith flew to Hawaii. “Here’s to the start of a new journey! See you in a few months Australia,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Just weeks later, they tied the knot on April 10, 2020, which was right before Thunderstorm began his virtual live shows for The Voice. Although he and his wife initially had plans to have a bigger wedding in Australia that July, the big day never happened. As of 2023, they were still waiting to celebrate with all of their loved ones.
Does Thunderstorm Artis have kids?
Yes, he’s the proud dad of two kids. The couple’s first son, Eziekel, was born in June 2022. In February 2024, Thunderstorm and Faith announced that they were expecting again. She gave birth to their second son, Zion, in September of that year.

What does Faith Artis do?
Like Thunderstorm, Faith is a singer, although she does not appear to sing professionally. She is the founder of Monat, a multi-level marketing company that specializes in “naturally based, anti-aging haircare, skincare, and wellness innovations.”
On her website, Faith revealed that she started the company because her family needed another source of income. “I also had zero friends after moving to a new country and felt this opportunity had the potential to give me both,” she explained. “But my ‘why’ has changed since joining this amazing opportunity, and now my focus is to help others get their dream hair and skin while using products that are clean and safe. I also love equipping others with the tools to succeed in their own Monat business. Monat has changed my life in so many ways than just one.”
