There’s no doubt that Revenge‘s Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) — who was really Amanda Clarke but was referred to as Emily throughout the series — had a messy life. But despite all she had going on while enacting her plan for revenge on the people who had her father, David Clarke (James Tupper), killed in prison (or so she thought), she always found time for romance.

Throughout the show, Emily had three major love interests: Daniel (Josh Bowman), Aiden (Barry Sloane), and Jack (Nick Wechsler). Daniel was the man she dated (and even ended up marrying) as part of her revenge plot. Aiden was the man who understood her on the deepest level because they trained together when he was plotting his own revenge scheme. And Jack was her childhood sweetheart, whom she was torn away from after her father’s imprisonment, which landed her in the foster care system and away from the life she knew.

She also dated Ben (Brian Hallisay) in Season 4, but we’ll just tell you right now that he isn’t the guy she ended the show with.

So, which guy did Emily end up with, and what happened to the rest? Scroll down for a refresh!

Who did Emily end up with on Revenge?

Emily ended up with Jack, of course! They were soulmates from the time they were children, and the series finale proved that they were always meant to be together. The two got together towards the end of Season 4, and Jack asked David for permission to marry Emily.

In the finale, Emily nearly died after being shot by Victoria (Madeleine Stowe). However, as Victoria fired her gun, David shot and killed Victoria, and even though Victoria’s bullet hit Emily, she was able to survive. A finale flash forward jumped to Emily and Jack’s wedding, confirming that they got their happily ever after.

Of course, getting to that point wasn’t easy. Before Emily came clean about her identity, Jack married the real Emily Thorne, but he thought was Amanda Clarke (Margarita Levieva) at the time. She was referred to as that throughout the series. They had a baby together before she died in Season 2. When Jack first found out that the woman he knew as Emily was actually his childhood friend and crush Amanda, he was (rightfully) livid with her for lying to him.

Nearly the entire series was a Jack and Emily slow burn as viewers waited to see if they would ever get past all the complications to make a romance work. And they did!

What happened to Daniel on Revenge?

Daniel died in Season 4, Episode 10, about halfway through the show’s final season. By the final season, Daniel and Emily were not on good terms. Once he learned the truth about what she was really doing and found out that their relationship was just part of her revenge plan, it changed everything between them. Meanwhile, Daniel was just another chess piece for Emily… or so we thought.

Daniel walked in amid Emily’s violent confrontation with FBI agent Kate Taylor (Courtney Ford). As Kate went to shoot Emily, Daniel stepped in to shield her and wound up sacrificing his life for his ex-wife. Meanwhile, Jack, who was on the police force, also arrived at the right time, shot and killed Kate.

Emily was holding Daniel in her arms when he died, and she made sure to tell him that not everything in their relationship was a lie. He assured her, “I know,” before his death.

Right before Daniel heard the commotion between Kate and Emily, he was on the beach having his final phone call with Margaux (Karine Vanasse), who was pregnant with his child. Despite previously telling him she didn’t want to be with him, they made amends on the phone call and were planning to be together. Sadly, Margaux ended up losing the baby, too.

Even though Emily and Daniel weren’t endgame, their real-life counterparts were. Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman started dating while filming Revenge and married in 2018. They have two children together.

What happened to Aiden on Revenge?

Aiden also didn’t make it to the series finale. He was killed by Victoria at the end of Season 3. Victoria killed Aiden as a way to get revenge on Emily, as she knew Emily was in love with him.

Victoria slipped a drug in Aiden’s tea that paralyzed him, allowing her to smother him to death. Poor Aiden. All he ever wanted was to run away with Emily, but her life was simply too complicated, and he eventually succumbed to a fate that was a direct result of those complications.
