‘Bridgerton’: Benedict & Sophie’s Love at First Sight Moment Revealed in Season 4 Clip (VIDEO)
Bridgerton‘s first real Season 4 clip has arrived, and it’s love at first sight for second-eldest Bridgerton brother Benedict (Luke Thompson), who is utterly entranced by the Lady in Silver, a.k.a. Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).
In the minute-long tease, Benedict enters the ballroom for his mother’s masquerade, and he’s greeted by whispers as debutantes take notice of his arrival. Eager to dodge their advances, he turns away from any approaching parties to find himself facing one particular woman who is acting differently than all the rest.
Rather than seeking out attention, particularly from Benedict, the Lady in Silver is caught up in the grandeur of the occasion, looking up at the gorgeous chandelier looming over the celebration. As Benedict takes in her enjoyment, he finds himself tracing the direction of her stare to look up at the light fixture as well.
To say Benedict is a goner would be an understatement because he appears to be utterly smitten with Sophie. But the fantasy is quickly shattered when another man pulls her attention when he goes to make an introduction to the mystery woman.
Ultimately, this first look is only a taste of what fans will enjoy when Bridgerton returns for Season 4.
Along with unveiling the clip, Netflix also announced that Season 4 would debut in 2026, but no information regarding a premiere month has been indicated at this time.
Additionally, Bridgerton fans won’t have to fret about the future of the Shondaland series as Netflix has already renewed the show for Seasons 5 and 6. So gear up for plenty of other Bridgerton romance in the years ahead.
