What Happened to ‘The Bachelorette’s Clare Crawley & Dale Moss? Where They Stand Today
Relationships always move quickly in Bachelor Nation, but Clare Crawley and Dale Moss had a whirlwind love story that beat all the rest. The two got engaged less than two weeks after they met on Season 16 of The Bachelorette in 2020.
While production was initially delayed due to COVID-19, Crawley and her suitors eventually began filming the unprecedented season in July 2020. It aired later that year, and viewers saw how she was immediately smitten by Moss from the moment they met.
By Week 3, Crawley knew that Moss was the person she wanted to be with, and she didn’t want to waste any more time dating around. When she shared this with him, he revealed that he was on the same page, and he popped the question. The proposal episode aired in November 2020, at which point the lovebirds confirmed they were going strong.

What happened to Clare Crawley and Dale Moss?
Crawley and Moss’ relationship didn’t last. They were together on and off for a little over a year before splitting for good in September 2021.
The trouble started in January 2021, just two months after Crawley and Moss went public with their romance. At the time, multiple outlets reported that they were facing “issues” in their relationship. Moss then confirmed via Instagram that he and his fiancée had split.

“I wanted [to] share with you all that Clare and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he shared. “We appreciate the love and support we’ve received form so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at this time. We strongly believe in leading with love and always remaining true to oneself — something our families have taught and instilled in us throughout our lives. We only hope the best things for one another.”
However, the next month, they were spotted together in Florida, and they eventually reconciled. They hard-launched the rekindled romance that April, and Crawley began wearing her engagement ring again.
Although they seemed happy while celebrating their one-year anniversary in July 2021, Crawley and Moss split just two months later. The news broke after he attended a wedding alone. “They have different visions and wedding planning wasn’t happening, which made Clare really upset,” Us Weekly reported. “She wants to be in Sacramento to be close to her family, especially her mom who isn’t well. Dale wants to remain in New York.”
Who is Clare Crawley with now?
Crawley found love again with husband Ryan Dawkins. The two met in September 2021, the same month that she ended her engagement to Moss.
“He asked me to dinner. I didn’t have an appetite. (Stressed & depressed),” Crawley recalled in an Instagram post one year later. “But I said yes to tea and a walk. Ended up laughing and smiling more than I did the entire last year combined.”
After keeping things private for months, they confirmed their romance in April 2022. They got engaged that October and tied the knot on February 1, 2023 (although they didn’t get their marriage license until a year and a half later).

In January 2024, Crawley and Dawkins welcomed a baby girl via surrogate. She explained that she decided to use a surrogate due to her past breast implant issues (she removed them in 2021). “I know you guys know I had breast implant illness. Because of that, I was just super aware of my fertility, as well, because that does and can affect fertility,” Crawley explained on her Instagram Story.
Dawkins also has two daughters from a previous relationship, and coparenting has been a struggle. “Bless the stepmoms out there that have to deal with their partners ex that hate them more than they love their kids,” Crawley wrote on Instagram in May 2025.
Dawkins is the CEO of Mascot Sports, according to LinkedIn. The company represents a “top-tier stable of clients in the areas of sponsorship strategy, experiential marketing and endurance events.”
Is Dale Moss dating anyone?
Moss does not currently appear to be dating anyone. He was previously in a two-year relationship with designer Galey Alix, who has been on HGTV. However, they split in 2024.
“Honestly there’s not much to tell,” Moss admitted during an Instagram Q&A. “You had two good people who genuinely loved one another and did your best to make things work. Sometimes because of life, timing or priorities it’s not as black and white as people like to think.”
He added, “But I believe that I can speak for the both of us by saying that at the end of the day we only wanted the best for one another and to see each other achieve their dreams,” he expressed. “Whatever the case, there are zero regrets and while every relationship has difficulties we brought each other a lot of joy and am grateful to have had that in my life.”
