Are ‘Survivor’s Boston Rob & Amber Mariano Still Together?
Rob Mariano and Amber Mariano (née Brkich) were 27 and 25 years old, respectively, when they met on Survivor: All-Stars in 2003 (the season aired in early 2004). Not only did they form an alliance on the show, but they also began a romance while on the beach in Panama.
In one of the most epic reality television love stories of all time, the couple got engaged during the live reunion show in May 2004. After Brkich was voted as the winner, with Mariano finishing as runner-up, he got down on one knee, asked her to marry him, and she accepted.
Oh, and it all happened while she was wearing an “I Love Rob” shirt to shut up the critics who thought she was faking her feelings for him so he’d help her get to the final tribal council.

Are Boston Rob and Amber still together?
Yes, they are! The couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on April 16, 2005. Less than one year after their engagement, they tied the knot and have now been going strong for more than two decades.

“So crazy… 2 kids that met on an Island!🏝️ Happy Anniversary,” Rob wrote on Instagram in honor of the milestone.
The former construction worker has been having a major reality television resurgence thanks to recent appearances on Deal or No Deal Island and The Traitors, while Amber lives a much more low-key life. However, despite his newfound busy schedule, Rob always makes sure to put Amber and their family first.
Amber did briefly return to the spotlight for Season 40 of Survivor in 2020. She and Rob both competed on the show, but their relationship made them too big of a threat (Amber was voted out second, and Rob was voted out sixth).
The duo also made a rare public appearance together at the 2025 Kentucky Derby. It was an anniversary gift for Amber, who had been wanting to attend the event for years.
Do Boston Rob and Amber have kids?
Yes, Rob and Amber have four daughters. They were married for four years before they welcomed their first baby girl, Lucia.
“We waited a few years to have kids, and that was kind of by design,” Rob shared on the First Class Fatherhood podcast. “We wanted to enjoy each other first.”

The pair’s second daughter, Carina, was born in December 2010, followed by Isabetta in May 2012 and Adelina in June 2014. All four girls flew to Fiji to visit their parents during Season 40 of Survivor.
“We have four daughters, and they make us so happy, and we stick together as a family,” Rob told Access in May 2025. “We do everything together, and we just always have so much fun, so I really think that’s just what solidified us. Twenty years has flown by. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years. We’ve had so much fun, made so many great memories, and we’re looking forward to more.”
Where do Boston Rob and Amber live?
Rob, Amber, and their daughters live in Pensacola, Florida. It’s a far cry from their hometowns in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania! Don’t get it twisted, though — Rob is still very much a dedicated Boston guy, especially when it comes to sports.
