‘Love Is Blind’ Season 1’s Lauren & Cameron Expecting First Child After Fertility Struggles
One of the original Love Is Blind couples is expanding their family! Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton, who met and fell in love during the first season of the Netflix dating show, are having a baby!
The couple announced Lauren’s pregnancy on May 26 with a fun and (delightfully dramatic) video. “This fall, a new chapter begins,” the voiceover declared. Lauren then debuted her baby bump to the world at the end of the Instagram video. She and Cameron also showed off a “Baby Hamilton” onesie.
The Love Is Blind alums will welcome their first child this fall. Lauren and Cameron have been open about their fertility struggles and have chronicled their journey with IVF.
“It’s been a long time coming,” she told People. “We’ve literally been trying to get pregnant for four years.”
Lauren is now in her second trimester of pregnancy. She admitted that her first trimester was “rough.” Throughout all the ups and downs, Cameron has been by Lauren’s side. “He’s just been so great, so patient and just awesome. I’m so blessed to have a partner like him,” Lauren gushed.

In October 2024, the couple opened up on their podcast, The Love Seat, about the difficulty they were having in conceiving a child and the impact it had on their relationship. “It has made us feel more connected. I think we support each other, we’re more in tune now,” Lauren said. “I feel like in marriage, or any type of relationship, when you go through something that’s big and heavy or weighs on your heart, it creates a bond.”
Love Is Blind Season 1 debuted in February 2020, but Lauren and Cameron had been married since November 2018. They were one of two couples to get married in the first season. Amber Pike and Matthew Barnett also found true love during the inaugural season and welcomed their first child in April 2025.
