‘The 100’ Couple Eliza Taylor & Bob Morley Share Rare Details About Their Relationship Today
Even though Clarke and Bellamy didn’t get their happy ending, costars Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley sure did in real life. The couple met and fell in love on the set of The 100 and had a private wedding in 2019.
Over five years later, they’ve since welcomed a son and have mostly kept their personal lives out of the spotlight. However, with the release of their new short film, Status: Active, the couple opened up about their relationship on and off set.
Status: Active follows Kaitlyn, played by Taylor, a Go Kart Go delivery driver who encounters a strange delivery on her last stop. Morley wrote and directed the short film, in which Taylor stars. The couple plans to turn the short film into a full-length feature. After years in front of the camera, on The 100 and in other projects, they’re starting to write together as well.
When it comes to this next phase of their working relationship, Taylor told Collider that “we’re sort of in the teething phase of figuring it out – how we’re going to write as a team.” Morley added, “And when! What time works for us, who does, what when. We both get inspiration at different times of the day.” While Taylor is a “morning person,” her husband prefers the afternoon.
Taylor continued, “We’re in our infancy, but it’s exciting. We do work together really well. We have done for so many years now. And it’s just an excuse to hang out more.” Morley gushed that hanging out with his wife is “kind of the best thing.”
Kaitlyn’s look in Status: Active features a sweet nod to Taylor and Morley’s son. The fanny pack Kaitlyn wears is from their little one’s closet!
The couple is now working on their next project together, one that Taylor calls “another dark and twisted comedy.” For the Bellarke fans out there, there’s a little bit of romance mixed in, too. “It’s a romance story about what lengths you would go to for the one you love. It’s set in the 90s,” Morley teased.
