‘Jersey Shore’s Angelina Pivarnick Gives Update on Where She Stands With Ex Vinny After Split
The new season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will give some insight into Angelina Pivarnick‘s split from fiancé Vinny Tortorella. She first shared the breakup news during the Season 7 reunion in January.
Pivarnick and Tortorella got engaged in November 2022 and faced many ups and downs in their relationship, but called it off for good after accusing each other of being unfaithful. So, where do they stand now?
“We talk. I can’t really get into anything else,” Pivarnick tells Swooon, adding that she and her ex are “cordial” now. She also confirms that we’ll see her side of the split on Season 8 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, but says Tortorella will not be appearing on the show.
Amid her relationship troubles, Pivarnick recently moved to a new home, still located in New Jersey. “I needed a fresh start from everything,” she explains. “My marriage [to Chris Larangeira] was in [that house]. I needed to get out of there. I needed to make new memories.”
Pivarnick and Larangeira were married for just over two years when they filed for divorce in January 2022. Shortly after the filing, she started dating Tortorella, although she remained coy about how serious they were at first. The split was finalized later that year and, by November, Tortorella had popped the question. The former couple’s struggles were documented on Jersey Shore.
In October 2024, Pivarnick pled guilty to disorderly conduct after a domestic violence incident. A judge agreed to a conditional dismissal, which means the charge against her will be expunged from her record if she meets probation requirements, according to Asbury Park Press.
Pivarnick has not publicly spoken about the arrest, and the victim has not been publicly named. She certainly did have a lot to say about Tortorella while discussing their split on the Jersey Shore reunion in January, though. The MTV star accused Tortorella of cheating and claimed that he only made similar allegations about her in order to justify doing so.
“He’s a clout chaser and he just wanted to be on TV,” she insisted. “And he didn’t care about anything that had to do with me. Just about TV.”
Tortorella responded to the controversy on his Instagram Story. “She wants me to lose everything I’ve ever worked for in my life, simply because I no longer want to be with her,” he claimed, adding that he “discovered examples that AGAIN, I was being cheated on by her with MULTIPLE MEN.” He said he ended the relationship in November 2024.
“The relationship was already over and done with,” Tortorella concluded. “I’m allowed and expected to move on/find a woman who respects/appreciates me.”
Prior to Pivarnick’s relationship with Tortorella, the cast of Jersey Shore was pulling for her to date their other single costar, Vinny Guadagnino, and that’s now a possibility again. “[We’re] still waiting,” Jenni “JWoww” Farley says, with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino adding, “It’s still alive to this day. It could happen!”
As for Pivarnick, all she has to say is, “Everybody wishes.”
