Are ‘Duck Dynasty’s Jep & Jessica Robertson Still Together? The Latest on Their Relationship
The Robertson family is back with Duck Dynasty: The Revival! Although Jep Robertson and Jessica Robertson are not part of Season 1 of the new show, the family’s return to television has sparked a renewed interests in all of the relationships we were first introduced to on the original Duck Dynasty, which ran from 2012 to 2017.
Jep and Jessica first crossed paths in February 2001 when they were at their mutual hairstylist’s salon. About a week later, they reconnected at a concert, then started spending time together as friends. By that May, the relationship had turned into something more, and they started dating in June 2001.
Four months later, the two were married, and they went on to start a family together. But nearly 20 years later, where do they stand? Scroll down for updates on their relationship!
Are Jep and Jessica Robertson still together?
Yes, the couple is going strong after 24 years together. They keep fans clued into their relationship with social media posts, including a May 2025 update.
“Right before Mother’s Day, me and my man snuck away for a little fishing trip just us!🌙 🎣” Jessica shared. “Owning a piece of Texas land at @legendstexas Comanche Moon has been such a blessing to us! Whether we’re fishing, hunting, shooting, camping or just visiting around a campfire with our friends out there, it is such a gorgeous escape from all the hustle and bustle.”

In addition to keeping their marriage a top priority, Jep and Jessica have continued to work together. They released their first book, Dear Valor, in 2024.
Do Jep and Jessica Robertson have kids?
Yes, they have five children together and became grandparents for the first time in early 2025, too!
Jep and Jessica’s four biological children are daughters Lily, Merritt, and Priscilla, and son River. They adopted another son, Gus, in 2016, which was documented on the spinoff Duck Dynasty: Building the Dynasty.
Lily married her husband, Austin, in 2023 and gave birth to a son, Winston, in February 2025. Merritt tied the knot with Tyler Metro in June 2024.
Why aren’t Jep and Jessica Robertson on Duck Dynasty: The Revival?
Rather than focusing on the entire Robertson family, Season 1 of the revival documents the lives of Willie Robertson, his wife Korie Robertson, and their kids. As their daughter Sadie Robertson revealed in an interview with Taste of Country, Jep and Jase Robertson are no longer working at Duck Commander, and there’s “no other reason” aside from that to explain their absence.
“The way that Duck Dynasty was the first time around, it’s my dad [who] runs Duck Commander and my mom runs Duck Commander and all the brothers work for Duck Commander. They build duck calls—Jase and Jep and Si [Robertson] and all them,” she shared. “Well, the second time around, the thing that was intriguing to the network of, ‘Wow, we can do this again,’ was actually my mom runs a lot of things up here at Duck Commander. I have my podcast studio and team all work out of Duck Commander. My brother works for my mom’s production company out of Duck Commander. My sister manages the whole Duck Commander store, so the next generation actually works here.”
However, she teased that her uncles will be showing up in Season 2, which is “already filming” right now. “The next season, they will be [on it] a little bit more based on some fun things we have going on with them.”
