Meet Sadie Robertson’s Husband Christian Huff & Look Back at Her Romantic History
Sadie Robertson is back on television in Duck Dynasty: The Revival, and she’s joined by her husband, Christian Huff, and their two children (the couple is currently expecting baby No. 3) on the show.
Robertson and Huff have been dating since 2018 and tied the knot in 2019, but before they met, Robertson was in a few other publicized relationships, too. Scroll down to learn more about her hubby and romantic history.
How did Sadie Robertson meet her husband?
The couple met in July 2018 while on a trip to Florida with friends. He was friends with Robertson’s sister Bella Robertson, which is how they crossed paths. After exchanging Instagram information on the trip, Robertson realized that Huff had actually sent her a DM on the social media app two years prior.
After spending two months talking and developing a relationship as friends, they started dating in September 2018. “I think a friendship is the most important thing in a relationship and ours is really strong,” she told Us Weekly.
Robertson and Huff have spoken about how their faith is something that’s always connected them. He proposed in June 2019 while they were celebrating their birthdays, and their wedding day came just five months later.

After graduating from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, and operations, Huff launched his fitness program 4:8 Men in 2024.

Who has Sadie Robertson dated?
Robertson dated Blake Coward for two years before their 2016 split. After the breakup, she opened up about what went wrong in their relationship.
“Over time, we welcomed sin in and allowed it to create a wedge between us and God,” she wrote in a now-deleted post on her blog. She also recalled a massive fight they got in and urged fans, “Although it is normalized in our society, I want you to know that fear, jealousy, pain, selfishness, impurity, manipulation and degrading comments are all UNHEALTHY components in a relationship and should not be considered normal.”
Robertson also clarified that the blog post was “Blake approved” and said “all is well” between them post-split.
In April 2018, she confirmed her relationship with Outer Banks star Austin North. “Austin DMed me on Twitter two summers ago and quickly got out of the DMs by giving me his number,” she spilled at the time. “We spent most of that summer calling and texting until things fizzled out just from lack of never actually meeting. Almost two years have gone by and I was in L.A. for my book press, and my friend said she wanted to set me up with someone at Churchome when we went on a Wednesday night, and to my surprise it was Austin.”

At the time, the romance was still new, and by August, the two had split. However, they remained on good terms.
“We broke up,” Robertson told Us Weekly. “He’s an amazing guy and I wish him all the best. We’re friends. It just didn’t work out. “He actually just texted me the other day and said he was thinking about me … and I think that’s beautiful. That’s how it should be.”
Did Sadie Robertson and Brett Eldredge date?
In 2017, Robertson starred in Brett Eldredge‘s music video for “The Long Way,” which sparked rumors that they were romantically involved. However, she clarified that they were never an item.
While Robertson called Eldredge the “best guy,” she joked, “It’s too complicated! Not dating. I know, everybody’s going to ship it.”
