‘Duck Dynasty’: Who Is Bella Robertson’s Husband Jacob Mayo? Their Marriage & Family Plans
Bella Robertson has literally grown up on television. She was just 10 years old when Duck Dynasty first premiered in 2012, and some of her most formative years were captured on the A&E reality show.

How did Bella Robertson meet her husband?
Robertson and Mayo were “friends for a long time” before they started dating in 2020. Like Robertson, Mayo is from Louisiana, and she told Fox News that he was her roommate’s brother. “We started dating because he came home from college to be here for quarantine, and that’s been a big factor,” Robertson explained in an interview with ET.
Mayo popped the question in November 2020, just six months after they started dating. Robertson was just 18 at the time, but she defended the decision. “We have known each other for so long. And since quarantine is like dog years, we’ve been in quarantine the whole time we’ve been dating and we’re together all the time,” she explained, later adding, “I don’t know if normally I would have gotten engaged to someone after six months, if we would have just met and started dating, you know? But on top of that, in the south, so many people get married so young.”

They tied the knot on June 5, 2021. “Happy anniversary darling,” Mayo wrote on Instagram for their fourth anniversary. “Every year is a new adventure and I love sharing life with you.” In her own post, Robertson said, “happy anniversary @jacobdmayo — i cherish every day i get to spend with you!”
Do Bella Robertson and Jacob Mayo have kids?
Robertson and Mayo don’t have any kids yet but will explore the topic of expanding their family on Season 1 of Duck Dynasty: The Revival.
“We share a story of infertility in the show and that’s something that we haven’t really shared publicly that much, but that’s something that others just don’t know,” Robertson told Us Weekly. “When you just look at someone on social media, you can’t know what anyone’s going through.”
Robertson previously addressed the topic shortly after Mayo’s proposal, telling Fox News, “I don’t think [we’ll have kids] anytime soon. We’re both so young. I’m 18 and Jacob’s 21. We’re both in college right now. So we definitely don’t plan on that anytime in the next few years.”
What does Bella Robertson’s husband do for a living?
Mayo has a business called General Vintage, a curated vintage clothing store. The shop’s brick-and-mortar store is located in West Monroe, Louisiana, but the products ship nationwide, according to Instagram. The store just opened in May 2025.

Mayo attended the University of Louisiana-Monroe and Mississippi Delta Community College, where he played baseball.
