Are ‘Duck Dynasty’s John Luke & Mary Kate Robertson Still Together?
Duck Dynasty fans have seen John Luke Robertson and Mary Kate Robertson’s relationship from its earliest days. The two met in 2010 while attending the same Christian summer camp in Louisiana.
Although they went their separate ways after that summer (they lived about an hour apart at the time), they reunited when Mary Kate transferred to the same school as John Luke after her sophomore year. Despite their one-year age difference, they were seated next to each other in homeroom.
After a year and a half of friendship, they took things to the next level. “Somewhere during that time, we started developing feelings for each other, and in March of 2014, we started dating,” Mary Kate told This Redeemed Life. “This was a pretty big deal for me because John Luke was my first boyfriend!”
At this point, John Luke and his family were reality television royalty. He proposed to Mary Kate in October 2014, and they got married on June 27, 2015. The wedding was featured on the original Duck Dynasty series, and now, the two are back on Duck Dynasty: The Revival.

Yes, John Luke and Mary are still married and are about to celebrate their 10-year wedding anniversary this June. They often post family updates on social media, confirming that they’re going strong.
Their relationship will be documented on Duck Dynasty: The Revival, and fans got a sneak peek during the June 1 premiere.
“Surprise!!! Honestly we can still hardly believe it, but we’re filming another t.v. show!” Mary Kate wrote on Instagram after the revival was announced. “John Luke spent his teenage years growing up on Duck Dynasty, our wedding was on the show, and our moving off to college. Nearly 10 years later, and so much life lived (especially having 3 children!!), and we’re stepping back in front of the cameras for Duck Dynasty: The Revival! We hope to be a bright light for Him and bring joy and laughter to your homes.”
Do John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson have kids?
Yes, John Luke and Mary Kate are proud parents to three children. Their first son, John, was born in October 2019, followed by daughter Ella in April 2021 and son Wells in September 2023.

The couple confirmed to Us Weekly that they are homeschooling their kids. “My parents were laissez-faire on most things, but strict about being kind and respectful,” John Luke shared. “We try to do the same for our kids.”
Where do John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson live?
John Luke and Mary Kate live on the Robertson family compound in West Monroe, Louisiana. They have a home right near his parents, Willie Robertson and Korie Robertson, and several of his siblings also live on the estate.
John Luke owns Kings Lane Coffee, which is sold at Duck Commander, and is the director of a Christian camp in Louisiana. Of his and Mary Kate’s decision to film the family’s new reality show, he said, “We had all moved back into the same neighborhood, and so many of us were working back in the Duck Commander warehouse. We thought, ‘We’re basically doing Duck Dynasty again, so we might as well get it on camera!’”
