Celebrity exes Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones both attended the 2025 Tony Awards four years after their split. The two were Broadway royalty before calling off their engagement in 2021, but they came together for the cast of Hamilton‘s reunion at the awards show.

Ramos and Cephas Jones were both original Hamilton cast members, and sparks first flew between them at a table read for the beloved musical in 2015. They got engaged on Christmas Eve 2018 and confirmed the news the following month.

However, the two never made it down the aisle. In November 2021, their breakup was confirmed. So, what happened between them? Scroll down for a refresh.

Why did Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones split?

Although the two never publicly confirmed the reason for their breakup, Ramos was hit with rumors of infidelity after a video of him with another woman at a strip club surfaced in 2021.

He seemingly addressed the breakup on his 2023 song “Villano,” singing, “I know I could’ve stayed, but I couldn’t find a reason, so I left you with a rock on your hand, and I ran with my demons.”

He also referenced the cheating allegations on the song. “They caught me wildin’ in the club, yeah I did that,” he sang. “Shawty said she wanna f**k, yeah I’m wit that. We were single, we were drunk, so I hit that. Next day, the tabloids with the spin back.”

How long were Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones together?

The two were together for more than six years at the time of their breakup. They started dating in February 2015 and called off their engagement before the end of 2021.

Where do Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones stand now?

The exes have not publicly revealed where their relationship stands today, but their social media accounts have been scrubbed clean of photos of each other. They do not appear to be on the best of terms, but were seemingly able to put that aside to celebrate Hamilton’s 10th anniversary at the Tonys.

However, when the list of actors for the Hamilton reunion performance at the Tonys was announced, Ramos was noticeably missing. Although he’s currently busy filming Ryan Murphy‘s new show The Beauty, he was able to sneak away to attend the awards show, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll perform alongside his ex.
