Who Is ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Si Robertson’s Wife? What We Know About Christine & Their Marriage

Si Robertson is back on our television screens as part of the new Duck Dynasty series, Duck Dynasty: The Revival, but once again, his wife, Christine Robertson, is not joining him. Although the two have been married for more than 50 years (they tied the knot in 1971), Christine has opted not to star on the family’s reality series.
But while Christine is a very private, Si has still given viewers some insight into his relationship with her over the years. Scroll down to learn more about Christine and the pair’s family.
How did Si Robertson meet his wife?
Si and Christine opened up about their love story on the Duck Room Call podcast in 2022. They revealed that they met in 1969 while he was hitchhiking, and she was a passenger in the car that picked him up.
“I couldn’t get past your strut,” Christine admitted, confirming that her now-husband was wearing a dragon jacket when she came across him on the side of the road. Her roommate’s boyfriend, Cody, was driving the vehicle when they stopped and picked Si up. About a month later, she was set up with him on a blind date.
“Cody and my roommate decided to set me up with some guys, and after I got tired of fighting off hands, I told Cody, ‘No more,'” Christine recalled. “So he said, ‘Describe to me the guy you’d be interested in dating.’ So I said, ‘Sure! He’d have to be 6’3″ or more.’ And I said he needed to have dark hair, green or gray eyes, great smile with dimples, and a keen sense of humor. Cody snapped his fingers and he said, ‘I know just the guy!’ And I’m thinking, ‘No, no, no, no.'”

On their first date, Christine picked Si up and admitted, “He’s walking in the parking lot, and I’m saying, ‘Not this guy. This cannot be him because he is stuck on himself.’ I had the best time that night, I will have to admit. He is funny. He kept me laughing all night.”
When Si finally proposed to Christine in a restaurant, she rejected his offer multiple times. Hours later, he finally got her to say yes.
Si debuted Christine on social media in 2012 amid the first season of Duck Dynasty. “Everyone’s been asking so here ya go…This is me and my wife Christine, we have been married 43 years…Loved her then, Love her still, always have, always will….and you can take that to the bank, JACK!!” he captioned the photo on Facebook.
Do Si and Christine Robertson have kids?
Yes, Si and Christine are parents to a daughter, Trasa, and son Scott. However, doctors had previously told Christine that she likely wouldn’t be able to have biological children of her own, which was the reason she was so hesitant about accepting Si’s proposal, as she knew he wanted kids.
After seeing a fertility doctor, Christine found out she had scar tissue in her uterus. Doctors removed it, but she was still told she only had a “one in a million” shot at having her own children.
“I said, ‘Look, you gotta understand that I know someone,'” Si recalled to Christian Post. “She said, ‘What do you mean? All the specialists told me that I will never have a child on my own.’ I said, ‘Yeah, but you don’t understand that I know somebody.’ She said, ‘Who do you know?’ I said, ‘I know the Almighty. If we are meant to have children, all the doctors in the world can’t stop us from having children if the Almighty says that He will bless us with children.'”
Why isn’t Si Robertson’s wife on Duck Dynasty?
In a 2014 interview, Si opened up about why Christine chose not to appear on Duck Dynasty. “I always told people, ‘She’s got better sense than the rest of us.’ But that ain’t the real reason,” Si told Us Weekly in 2024. “Sometimes we film 12 hours a day, and she’s just not healthy enough to go through the rigors of that. But, ah, it ain’t no big deal. She wants no part of it anyway. She’s been married to me for 43 years. The last thing she needs is to watch us on a TV show.”
“He still is funny, he makes me laugh, he really does,” Christine said on Duck Room Call. “But sometimes he is so irritating.” She also added, “He does not admit he’s ever wrong,” and clarified, “He’s my best friend. Now, it’s just, there’s nothing to fight over. There’s just nothing we disagree with. We’re just partners.”
