Does ‘Love Island USA’s Taylor Williams Have a Girlfriend at Home? Inside the Rumor
Love Island USA drama isn’t just limited to what we see on Peacock.
The Season 7 contestants have only been in the villa for about a week, but fans have already had plenty to talk about. There was the love triangle between Nic, Cierra, and Belle-A, culminating in the latter being the first to be dumped of the season. That same night, Ace and new bombshell Amaya coupled up, only for things to get tense when Ace said he wanted to “set boundaries” with her.
With all of that (and more) going on, Taylor and Olandria have been one of the more low-key pairings. From the beginning, they decided to keep things at a slow burn, building a friendship first. In the June 10 episode, the couple decided that it was time to take things to the next level and show more affection for each other.
That’s why fans were shocked to find out that there might be more to Taylor than what we’ve seen from him so far. On June 7, TikTok user @rianalicia posted a screenshot of a text message that fans are speculating is from Taylor. “Yall’s favorite cowboy,” the caption says.
After checking the Instagram profile linked on the TikTok account, we discovered that the person’s name is Rian Brooks, and the Oklahoma native does currently follow them.
In the text, the person Rian is claiming to be Taylor says that he’s just been asked to sign on for the next season of Love Island USA after another contestant backed out. “I told them sure cause I want this pass this up cause it’ll only help my modeling and stuff,” the text reads. Taylor describes himself as an international model and actor on his website. “But don’t worry I plan on coming back to you when I come back. Just wanted to communicate and tell you so you not blindsided.”
In the now-viral post, Love Island USA viewers flocked to the comments, with many questioning why the user would reveal the text messages at all. “Girl well he’s def not coming back to u now,” one reads. Others called out Taylor for his alleged actions. “The point of the show is to find love [and] not go back to someone you were with before the show. So it looks like he’s just there for the money, not love,” someone chimed in.
When commenters asked for proof, Rian supposedly did post screenshots of some conversations she had with Taylor. Before they were deleted, a user captured and reposted them here.
However, there’s no telling if the posts are actually real — or if Taylor and Rian were exclusive or serious. One user claims Rian liked a comment that said she and Taylor were in a “situationship,” though we weren’t able to find it when we went digging.
It’s still early days, so only time will tell if Taylor and Olandria make it to the end of the season, and if their relationship will carry on outside of the villa once it’s over.
