‘And Just Like That’: Sarah Jessica Parker Reveals Shocking Detail About Carrie & Aidan’s Phone Sex Scene

Sarah Jessica Parker spilled some surprising secrets about her And Just Like That character Carrie Bradshaw’s steamy Season 3 phone sex scene with Aidan (John Corbett).
While appearing on Howard Stern‘s radio show, Parker discussed the steamy Episode 1 moment. Stern summarized what was going on on Aidan’s end of the phone, explaining how he licked his hand before pleasuring himself.
“Did you know he did that in that scene?” Stern questioned. Parker couldn’t hold back her shock. “I have not seen that,” she admitted.
The radio show host was surprised by the confession, and Parker reiterated, “I have not seen it. I can’t comment on that.” She joked, “My lawyer has advised me not to comment.”

Parker also admitted that “hasn’t seen most of Sex and the City ever,” adding, “And I haven’t seen And Just Like That. Every now and then Michael Patrick [King] will say to me, ‘Please, watch Episode…’ So I don’t know. This is the first I’m hearing about that.”
After a clip from the interview was uploaded to Instagram, fans flooded the comments section with their reactions to the confession. “I find it strange that you wouldnt watch something you filmed,” someone wrote, while another person said, “Wait. Wait. Waaaait. If she’s not watching… Why are we?”
Others also pointed out that Parker is an executive producer on the show, which makes it even more shocking that she’s never seen an episode.
Carrie and Aidan have been figuring out the new normal in their relationship during Season 3. At the end of Season 2, Aidan moved back to Virginia to be there for his sons, and he asked Carrie to wait five years for him. However, they weren’t able to fully cut each other off during that time, which is what led to the phone sex scene.
At first, Carrie wasn’t able to let loose and commit to the phone bit, and when she called Aidan back to try again, he had his hands full tending to one of his sons. They rectified the situation when Aidan surprised Carrie with a visit to New York, during which they hashed out the specifics of their arrangements, and agreed that texting, phone calls, and future visits weren’t off the table during the five-year window. But it remains to be seen if that will be enough for these two to make it work.
